I think George was the MVP on this album, however, I agree with Quarryman that all four did some of their best work playing and writing on this album.

Sir Walter, I completely agree that George shone on this album in all of his songs. Listening to it, it seems like he came into his own as as good a songwriter as John and Paul. This momentum rose and peaked when he released All Things Must Pass

And without his masterful guitarwork and songwriting help, Octopus Garden would be bland and forgettable. But with George's intro lick and playing on the whole song, I cannot keep from smiling when I hear it.

And here I thought Dark Overlord was taking a break from the forum. I'm pretty sure George played it though since its kind of a lead lick, and he is credited with lead guitar.

I was sure that John played it (on his Telecaster), and I remember reading somewhere that that is what happened...a-hard-days-night-george-4Where's DO when you need him?a-hard-days-night-george-10

I'm pretty sure it's George, considering he's credited and it sounds much more in his style than John's.

It's George playing through a Leslie speaker.

For me, it's between Paul and George, but I'm leaning more towards George, just for Something alone. I love that song
