Paul McCartney live: Movistar Arena, Santiago, Chile

The 35th concert of Paul McCartney’s Out There tour took place at the Movistar Arena in Santiago, Chile.

It was the third of six shows in South America, and the second of two concerts at the Santiago venue. The show was originally due to have taken place on Monday 21 April, but was rescheduled after an aeroplane carrying equipment failed to arrive in time.

Though I’m upset that the jumbo jet carrying all my equipment for the show has gone technical and will not arrive in Santiago in time for the show tonight, I will not cancel the concert. I would hate to disappoint our great Chilean fans so we are moving the Monday show to Wednesday this week and looking forward to having a rocking time in Santiago.

McCartney’s band was Paul ‘Wix’ Wickens (vocals, keyboards, guitar, percussion, harmonica), Brian Ray (vocals, guitar, bass), Rusty Anderson (vocals, guitar) and Abe Laboriel Jr (vocals, drums).
