Paul McCartney live: Sportpaleis, Antwerp, Belgium

Paul McCartney performed at the Sportpaleis in Antwerp, Belgium, on 28 March 2012.

It was the 22nd show of the On The Run Tour, which lasted for 37 dates between July 2011 and November 2012. This concert was seen by 14,291 fans.

Some minor changes were evident in the setlist. The concert opened with the ‘Venus And Mars’/‘Rock Show’ medley, and ‘Jet’ was played as the third song. ‘Let ’Em In’ made an appearance, but ‘Maybe I’m Amazed’ was dropped.

As with previous shows, a few lines of ‘Yellow Submarine’ were played before ‘Band On The Run’. ‘Drive My Car’ was played in the first encore, replacing ‘Day Tripper’ which was played in the second encore instead of ‘Helter Skelter’.

McCartney’s band was Paul ‘Wix’ Wickens (vocals, keyboards, guitar, percussion, harmonica), Brian Ray (vocals, guitar, bass), Rusty Anderson (vocals, guitar), and Abe Laboriel Jr (vocals, drums).

McCartney had previously performed at the Sportpaleis on 1 and 2 April 2003 during the Back In The World Tour.
