Paul McCartney live: Fenway Park, Boston

Paul McCartney performed at Fenway Park in Boston, Massachusetts, USA, on 5 August 2009.

It was the sixth show of the Summer Live ’09 Tour, which lasted for 10 dates in July and August 2009, and the first of two consecutive nights in Boston.

The show included extended jams at ‘The End’ of ‘I’ve Got A Feeling’ and ‘Paperback Writer’. Fireworks and a light show were features of ‘Live And Let Die’.

McCartney’s band was Paul ‘Wix’ Wickens (vocals, keyboards, guitar, percussion, harmonica), Brian Ray (vocals, guitar, bass), Rusty Anderson (vocals, guitar), and Abe Laboriel Jr (vocals, drums).

McCartney returned to Fenway Park on 9 July 2013 for the Out There Tour; 17 July 2016 for the One On One Tour; and 7 and 8 June 2022 for the Got Back Tour.
