‘Nobody Told Me’, the first single from John Lennon’s posthumous album Milk And Honey, was released in the United States on 5 January 1984.
The song was recorded during the Double Fantasy sessions. Ten takes were recorded, the best of which was selected for Milk And Honey.
‘Nobody Told Me’ was issued in the USA on 5 January 1984, and four days later in the UK. The b-side was Yoko Ono’s song ‘O’ Sanity’.
The single peaked at number five on the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States, and at number six on the United Kingdom’s singles chart.
