Mixing: All Things Must Pass by George Harrison

Room 4, EMI Studios, Abbey Road
Producers: George Harrison, Phil Spector
Engineers: Phil McDonald, John Leckie

Friday 9 October 1970 was a mixing session for George Harrison’s third solo album All Things Must Pass.

Harrison had spent the first half of September overdubbing some songs at Trident Studios. The songs he didn’t work on during that time were mixed in this week, from 6-9 October.

The album’s co-producer Phil Spector split his time between Abbey Road’s Room 4, where the mixing sessions took place, and Studio Three, where John Lennon was recording his debut solo album.
