Ringo Starr’s second film, The Magic Christian, had its New York première on the evening of 11 February 1970.
The film, which also starred Peter Sellers, had its world première in London on 12 December 1969. The US premiere had taken place in Los Angeles on 29 January 1970, making this the third such event.
