Copies were made of the final mixes of ‘When I’m Sixty-Four’ and ‘Strawberry Fields Forever’ on this day.
Both copies were for The Beatles’ US label, Capitol Records. A copy of remix mono eight of When I’m Sixty-Four, made on 30 December 1966, and the edit of mono mixes 10 and 11 of Strawberry Fields Forever from 22 December, where made.
None of The Beatles were present for this session, which took place from 2.30-4pm in the control room of Abbey Road’s Studio Two.
