The Beatles filmed sequences for Help!, their second feature film, on Paradise Island’s Cabbage Beach and Rose Island’s Victoria Beach.
This was the ninth day of filming in the Bahamas. The group left for England on 10 March 1965.
On this day the final sequence for Help! was filmed, in which Ringo Starr was rescued after being staked into the beach.

I met the Beatles on Paradise Island in late Feb 1965 in a deserted Casino in front of the beach they were filming Help on!! There was no bridge to the island back then, only a two car ferry!!
