This booking was arranged by Brian Epstein’s NEMS Enterprises. It was The Beatles’ only performance in the Lancashire town of Leigh.
The Casino later became a nightclub, and was finally demolished in 2007.

I was there went after nightschool class at Leigh mining and technical college, as was.
I was there with my mate Steve,we were 15 believe it or not,he handed a request to George Harrison
I was there with my friends from Grammar School. We actually got their autographs as they left via the back alley. I too was 15.
I was there with friends and got Paul McCartney’s autograph inside and John Lennon’s through their car window. They actually asked us for directions out of Leigh! To my eternal shame I sold their autographs to specialists visiting Lincoln in about 1999. Saw them in Bolton also. Programme on Channel 4 tonight disappointingly didn’t seem to mention either. Bronwen Crowe nee Davies. Now in Spain! 5 Jan 2018.
can you please confirm where and when you saw them in Bolton ? There is no evidence for this that we can find.
I was there!!! Age 15 enjoyed a great night together with schoolfriends.
The Beatles never appeared in Bolton
