This date, the 12th of The Beatles’ 1964 British tour, was the second time they performed at the Gaumont State Cinema in London’s Kilburn district. They had previously performed there on 9 April 1964.

The 11th date of The Beatles’ 1964 British tour was also their final visit to Leeds’ Odeon Cinema. They performed two concerts, for which they were paid £850.

The Beatles weren’t originally scheduled to perform at the Municipal Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri. Their day off was cancelled, however, after local promoter Charles O Finley persuaded the group’s manager Brian Epstein to let them play.

This was The Beatles’ only concert in New Orleans, Louisiana. They played before a capacity crowd of 12,000 at the City Park Stadium, and were in the city for less than 24 hours.

The Beatles performed one concert on this day, to an audience of 12,603. Their only show in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania took place at the Civic Arena, the world’s first major indoor sports stadium with a retractable roof.

This was The Beatles’ only visit to Baltimore. They performed two shows at the Civic Center, to a total of 28,000 fans. The support acts were The Bill Black Combo, The Exciters, Clarence ‘Frogman’ Henry, and Jackie DeShannon.

The Beatles played just once concert on this night, before 13,909 fans. It was their only visit to the Boston Garden in Boston, Massachusetts.
