Offlinefavorite beatle: Stuart Sutcliffe
Does he count? I hope so. Ok, I have never heard him sing, I can hardly trace his bass playing in the older records but… He came up with the Beatles name (probably), was the first to wear the Beatles hairstyle or Voormann hairstyle as Astrid supposedly calls it (: Also, the quote about him sharing the wardrobe with Astrid was so adorable I couldn't help but smile stupidly. And his tragic life, it makes me so infuriated, I also have a tendency to like painters but not really their paintings, weird I know. He seemed to be this shy, courteous, super loyal and really tender guy, sort of opposite of John. And I love his freckles.Maybe there are some other reasons as well…
Regarding music, my fav would be John. Especially his solo career pieces. And George, I love his humor. "Who's your type of girl", "John's wife", I just can't get enough of that. But I guess Paul would be my favorite as a "beatle". He has so many great songs, I love the way he performs, and his killer smile-- I'm glued to videos in which he plays.

OfflineI honestly can't say why I am in love with John Lennon.
I think it was the way he was a controversial. Always tackling things such as religion, politic, and society. Because of that, the public eye didn't like him. They didn't like George for the mere fact that he was a Hindu. Ringo…because he was only the drummer? And they (the audience later on…) all liked Paul, because he was polite, charming, handsome…oh yeah. John. Anyway. John was a bad person, to tell a very honest truth. He wasn't there when his son was born, and basically did what his father did…sort of. He was there, but Julian was a lot closer to Paul. The person he became when he met Yoko was a lot…more different. I liked him in the late sixties…when he was still friends with Paul…when he didn't have that beard YET (i can't stand it)…when he was just…being himself, without any fear.
Edit: why did i forget his music? LOL, fail. Well, his music was the best when it was post-Beatles. I am literally in love with "Jealous Guy" and "Isolation". His music was really touching. I can really relate to his song "Mother" because of my own parents. He was a beautiful person when it came to music.
Anyway. I don't know what made me fall in love with John…He was a really good person when he died. I wish that I can make an impact on at least one person's life like he did to so many.

OfflineRingo is favorite, I can relate to him in so many ways. His smile, laugh, and his personality. Imagine in A Hard Days night when the old dude turns off Rigo's radio, the wide-eyed "What did I do?" look. Thats the look that is unfortunately on my face very often.
I love his music, Photograph moves me deeply, and lets not forget Octopus Garden.

OfflineI'd have to say…. a tie between George and John.
I love George for his goodness, inside and out. He may have started out writing not-so-good songs, but look where he went! Whenever I'm down, I always listen to his music, and I feel better. He was just such a good person, and he broadened my outlook on the world.
But I love John for him being…him. If he didn't like something or someone, he'd tell them, and he acted as himself his whole life. He went through a lot of crap in his life, but dealt with it. He was a man of peace later on, and he always has inspired me. I also apparently am like him personality-wise, as I crack one-liners, and he(along with George) has inspired me to take up guitar.
(I also love Paul and Ringo, but, just not as #1

OfflinePeople always compare me to Paul… PAUL!!! Remember how I hate/love him? Well, he's not my favorite Beatle, but he was totally gorgeous, and talented and funny. But I still don't know how I'm like him. One of my closest friends, Catie, told me that I'm a mix between John and Paul, though she reminds me more of John.
