Let's just be honest and say that they could release anything and we all would be interested in hearing it.
Agreed!
mr. Sun king coming together said And yes, YouTube comments are stupid. But hilariously so.

OfflineI don't think it was ever fully completed, but I would have loved to have heard the "Cellarful of Noise" book that Brian had recorded. The couple of excerpts on Anthology 1 left me wanting to hear more. I don't know what it is about his voice, but I could listen to him reciting a telephone directory.

On the previous page of this thread, c64wood mentioned the original slow version of Please Please Me. I've heard Sir George say it was less than appealing (see 2:45 into this video - thanks to Joe for providing the link!), but I would have liked to have heard John's Roy Orbison "impression".
To the fountain of perpetual mirth, Let it roll for all its worth.

OfflineHenry the horse, I don't think the best of live thing is important, there is after all live at the hollywood bowl, anthology, bside of real love….
Also the get back sessions thing is not so important I think, because there's the film, anthology, fly on the wall naked disc. I want Carnival of Lights, Tip of My Tongue (with takes mixed together like anthology one after 909), the three songs from the decca tape not released in any form (love of the loved, september in the rain, take good care of my baby), a mixed together version with new overdubs by paul and ringo of window window, madman, january 1969 child of nature take with new paul and ringo overdubs, the reworked now and then and this as one cd. Also a george martin remix of the let it be album would be nice but I know that not even one of the two will be released

OnlineI would like to see an indepth box set documeting the evolution of the albums from their earliest possible stages to the finished product. The albums are iconic so it would be a feast for the scholars, fellow musicians, and fans to hear how they were put together – and include the singles with the relevant albums (Strawberry Fields and Penny Lane go in the Pepper boxset).
So for example an 8cd Pepper set that includes demos where possible + every take 1 in its earliest stage, + a whole host of takes that show us how the songs were formed (no new edits tho – dont give me the drums from take 5 of Lovely Rita which the bass of take 2, Pauls alternate vocal from take 23, the piano from the second reduction, and the backing vocals from the master.
(Im not a fan of those edited together takes, i get why it was done as well as the arguements for (the beatles did the same thing in the sixties), give me the unaltered, original raw tapes complete with flubs, mistakes and whatever.)
Aim it at the collectors, dont try and cover possible new fans, those who only know a few album, and the hardcore fans in one go.
