If this would fit better in the Recording and Musicology section, I wouldn't mind if it was moved.

Anyway, what are some Beatles songs in which somebody messes up and sings the wrong lyric while someone else sings the correct one?

Example: In I Want To Hold Your Hand, somebody sings "I want to hold your hand," but somebody else sings "You'll let me hold your hand" or something like that.

What are some others? My brain is apparently incapable of remembering any. blue-meanie

John messes up in the third verse of Drive My Car – at least I think it's the third verse.

And maybe that bit in "Please Please Me" that they recorded that little insert for? Again I'm not sure!

I like black music, disco music. I like the disco music that's out now - John Lennon, 1975

Yes! That's it! The one that was on the tip of my tongue, yet I couldn't remember it!

Wait, are you referring to the part where somebody sings "Why do I never even try, girl" instead of "I know you never even try, girl"?

I love that bit, its probably my favourite part of the album- especially in the "Come on"s after when John does a little giggle. a-hard-days-night-john-6

There's also a mistake in the middle 8 of I'll Get You- John sings "make you mine," and Paul sings, "change your mind," (or it might be the other way round).

I like the mistakes though, they're fun and they remind you that Beatles songs aren't some perfect gift from God- they're the result of four real people working hard and having a good time.

I bet there are no such mistakes on Abbey Road.

Lots of songs I think, I'll add more here when I stumble upon one.

I do remember that this site mentions "He'll be back" in the song: A Taste of Honey.

"And in the End the Love you take is equal to the Love you make"
"When I was a robber *Piano Chord* in Boston Place"
"Let's hope this turns out pretty darn good huh"
"Pete may be the best, but Ringo is the star"
Paul:"Don't be nervous John"
John:"I 'm not"
