How has "Into The Sky With Diamonds" not seen this thread yet??

One day, a tape-op got a tape on backwards, he went to play it, and it was all "Neeeradno-undowarrroom" and it was "Wow! Sounds Indian!" -- Paul McCartney

I wish I could remember which comedian once said... Why do they call asteroids "asteroids" and hemorrhoids "hemmorrhoids"? Wouldn't it make more sense the other way around?

The thing is that they're minor planets that happen to be in the asteroid belt that's between Mars and Jupiter.

Four asteroids were named John, Paul, George, and Ringo.

I know a lady who name her cats Lennon and McCartney

I named my car Lucy, don't judge me. I know naming cars is an old thing, but I like it. The other car we had I named The Grey Lady from Harry Potter.

The friend who ushered in my Beatle fan resurgence (and probably regrets it) named one of her cats Penny Lane.

I´ve always thought that if I have a son then I´ll call him George :)

Paul used to call himself Paul Ramon right? Apparently the Ramones got their name from that.

And I THINK the band Hello Goodbye got their name from the song. Apparently they covered some Beatles and John Lennon stuff so it just has to be!

Not named after the Beatles BUT defnitely related:

The band Death Cab For Cutie got their name from the song with the same name by The Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band after having watched Magical Mystery Tour.

And I haven't even mentioned the 2 shows in Holland yet! We have this show called All You Need Is Love, which is about people who send in a letter with a story and then they're getting reunited with their loved one or can apologize for something or whatever. It's really emotional sometimes and they go all over the world to find them. The theme song used to be All You Need Is Love, but now it's that crap song by Will I Am and Eva Simons, This Is Love -.-

And then we also have a show called HelloGoodbye, which is basically just people on an airport saying goodbye to other people who leave by plane and then they can tell their story. Never watched it, but it seems boring. And of course it has Hello Goodbye playing in the background all the time.

I watched MMT with my mom recently, and when she heard the song, the first thing she said was, "Isn't Death Cab for Cutie a band?"

That was exactly what I thought when I first watched it! I was like ''Oooooh, that's where they got that strange name from''

Me too. I use to think it was a random name like My Chemical Romance, but it made more sense after MMT.

I think a Gallagher from Oasis named his son Lennon.

Yep. Liam named his son Lennon. Jesus, his kids are really butt ugly, just like their father.

A Dutch DJ named his son Lennon too.
