OfflineWithout couting character names (like in Across the universe, where everybody was named after a freaking Beatle song), do you know something or someone named after the Beatles?
Well I know a few:
- The Cranberries got their name after the line "Cranberry Sauce" in Strawberry Fields.
- Gemma Aterton's character in James Bond's Quantum of Solace is named Strawberry Fields. I remember when I saw the movie on the theater, when Bond asks her "What's your name?" and she says "Just Fields" and later when Bond knows her name is Strawberry, I laughed saying "Strawberry Fields come on"
- Actor Jude Law is named after the song Hey Jude!
- One of the oldest skeleton ever found was named Lucy because in the camp she was found, Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds was being played a lot.. OK I just checked wiki and her name is Lucy (Australopithecus).

I've personally known at least two girls named Michelle for the song.
A long time ago, I worked with a young girl named Sadie. When I was introduced to her for the first time I said, "your parents must be Beatles fans". She said, "how did you know?"
To the fountain of perpetual mirth, Let it roll for all its worth.

John Lennon Drive, Paul McCartney Way, George Harrison Close and Ringo Starr Drive, places in Liverpool since 1982.
And let's not forget John Lennon Liverpool Airport.
My sister's dog is Lucy after Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds. The funny thing is that, when my sister gets mad at her she says "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds quiet!!"
I met a few years ago a girl named Estrella. Her Dad, a drummer himself, was a huge Ringo fan. Her Mom doesn't like the Beatles so they chose a not that obvious name. (Estrella is in Spanish Star)
Now naming your son Max when you're a Macca fan is just AWESOME…

OfflineMy firstborn sons name is going to be Richard. And I have reasons behind it.
When my grandfather was born my great-grandmother named him Richard. My great-grandfather decided he didn't like that name and changed it to J. Just J, no period. So ever since then, my great-grandmother has suggested that anyone in the family names their child Richard. She passed away not too long ago, like 3 years ago, and since then I dicided my son's name WILL be Richard.
And, I'm a Ringo fan.

Not at all. Someone's Dad (I don't remember the name, damn Dory side of my personality) named his guitar Arthur.
I want to get a guitar and I'll call it George.
I know you should call them with girl names but I'm a girl so he's going to be George.

That was Kitzia's dad (speaking of which, I haven't seen her around recently)
