In "Let it Be," is that Mal who holds the Beatles drum head?

If I seem to act unkind, it's only me, it's not my mind that is confusing things.

I've always wondered if the guys did anything when Mal was killed. Like did they help out his family. Like how did the guys take it? Still messed up that his ashes were lost. Really disrespectful.

Oh Mal, I think you're cool. If i watch any Beatle video and I see Mal, I have to yell out his name. It's like Where's Waldo. You gte excited when you find him mal-evans

Harrison give his Family a substantial sum of money after his death because Mal didn't have Life insurance

And well this is not help or something like that.. but I think Paul stopped Mal's girlfriend to sell some Beatle memorabilia he had and she wanted to make profit of it.

I'm glad I'm not the only one. I started this thread and rallied for the mal-evanssmiley.

I'll kick it off by sharing a drinking game I developed (don't try this at home til your 21 kiddies!). Here is what you need.

1) The Anthology DVD's - if you don't own them, you can watch them on YouTube.

2) Mass quantities of your favorite beverage (yeah, alcohol – otherwise all you get out of this game is a full bladder).

The rules are simple. As you are watching Anthology you will take a drink of your beverage when Mal appears on screen as follows.

  • Face only – one sip
  • Head and shoulders – 2 sips
  • Full Mal – drink half of your drink
  • Mal with his shirt off - chug that sucka down - bottoms up!
  • If by this time, you are seeing double and you see 2 Mal's, slam a new drink or go to bed and wait for your hangover.

Cheers! mal-evans

Saw this and had to play it over the weekend! Very fun and a good excuse to make my non-Beatles fan friends to watch them with me. Definitely my new favorite drinking game. mal-evansheartmal-evansheartmal-evansheartmal-evans

a-hard-days-night-ringo-8Glad you enjoyed it!

I've had a good time when I've played it. At least I'm fairly certain I did. If I remember correctly.

And why, in your very first post, telling me I don't know what the f*ck I'm talking about. How do you know Harrison didn't? Or are you misguided? Which?

Wow, didn't know this thread existed; would have jumped in sooner - half of Into the Sky with Diamonds is the history of the Beatles as seen (presumably) through Mal's eyes.

He's really under-appreciated to the extent that he's the ONLY member of their entourage who was present during all phases of their activities (studio, movie sets, concerts, etc...).

He did indeed receive monies from Harrison; not much, but more than from any of the other Beatles!

For all the services he rendered (and all for a puny paycheck) he really was treated poorly by the Beatles. Granted, at the time of the breakup they were all self-absorbed, but still, he deserved better.

Well there's a way to introduce yourself. Welcome to the forum, thatswrong.

Did any of The Beatles help out the Evanses when Mal died, then?

Please don't spoil my day; I'm miles away
