Jeff Beck does She's A Woman. Who knew the Beatles were so funky?

Wilson Pickett and Duane Allman does Hey Jude. Who knew the Beatles were so soulful?

I love She & Him's version of You Really Got A Hold On Me. I think her voice really suits it.

I don't know if anyone already posted the amazing Bobby McFerrin's "Blackbird".

Enjoy. Also check out his "Drive my car" version.

Regena Spector with Real Love is quite good.

While surfing youtube, I came across Symphonic Rock by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, and I really enjoyed their version of Let It Be.

Looking down the playlist I see they also have versions of Yesterday, Because, A Day In The Life and I Am The Walrus that I have yet to listen to, but I'm expecting them to be great.

A journalist friend of mine is writing a piece on Tin Machine (David Bowie's 90s band) for a UK magazine. It made me go back to their albums and see they're as bad as their reputation (they're not).

I'll just leave this here. I don't think it's a classic cover or anything, but it might be of interest to some.

Please don't spoil my day; I'm miles away

Wow that's interesting… I like David's voice capturing the theme of the song, and  the new sound is good. Thanks for sharing Joe! apple01

An amazing acoustic cover of All You Need Is Love by 11-year old (!!) (when the video was uploaded) Sungha Jung:

He's uploaded some more Beatles covers, like:

That Working Class Hero cover is pretty cool. I agree with Mith that David's voice inflections keep the integirty of the original in step.

Thanks, Joe.

a-hard-days-night-ringo-8May I respectfully disagree? It's garbage. The song might be Working Class Hero, but this is first class garbage

Sarah Mclachlan does a very nice version of "Blackbird" -- and I like Aerosmith's take on "Come Together".

Joe Cocker's "With a Little Help From My Friends" of course is a very powerful version of this song…..

And of course there are several great performances on THE CONCERT FOR GEORGE of Harrison's best Beatle tunes….

I've got nothing to say, but it's okay.. GOOD MORNING! GOOD MORNING!! GOOD MORNING!!!
