To me, those goose bumps became elephant bumps when I found out he is actually saying "shoot me".

Agreed. I hear him saying 'Shoot Me' so well on that part now when I listen to the song. It's actually kind of creepy. I kind of wish I could un hear it but it does make the song really powerful.

Another solid one is this live version of Crossroads by Cream. Many rave about Clapton's solos in this song (@ 1:27 and 2:31) and deservedly so. But lost to most is the fantastic "lead bass" playing by Jack Bruce.

I'll probably get arguments from those on this Forum with Paulier-than-thou attitudes, but I'd put JB up against any bass player before or since.

Every set of headphones that I buy breaks within the first week. That's what I get for having little cousins.

Yeah, I can't leave my earphones just lying around because my baby likes to chew on them!

I like With The Beatles and Abbey Road on earphones and A Day In The Life and Revolution 9 becuase it's waaay crazier!

But when I do get to listen to them with BOTH ears, I like listening to "A Day In The Life". And "Revolution 9" is less....yeah. It's better than it is on vinyl is all I have to say.

That vinyl comment - it was a joke. I don't think all people under 20 are ignorant. Although my friend's teenage niece went to his house and saw a 7" single, and remarked "That's a big CD". The mind boggles...

LOL! That reminds me of some teens who saw my U2's Joshua Tree vinyl and my walkman when I took it to school one day. They had never seen those before. They liked the sound of the tape though.

Zig and I were talking about "Isn't this where..." on The Wall, at the end of Outside The Wall.

Zig- I just turned In The Flesh? up to an unhealthy volume level, and it is indeed there.

It's good to know they left it in for the CD - no reason not to, really.

Well, you know that vinyl and LPs are the same thing*. How about cassettes? 

I'll always have a place in my heart for vinyl. First, it's the format the Beatles worked with. Second, it's really cool!
