So that's a good thing that happened then, right? You probably got a lot better at the guitar

OfflineThese are all very sad stories that just make you appreciate The Beatles more than ever. They have hands down helped me get through so much in my life. On average I've lost someone significant to me every 2 and a half years of my life. Including my dad and cousin which were the hardest that really put me in a sad place. Let Be and Blackbird definitely gets me through everyday problems and Here Today I can't ever listen to without breaking a tear. Also I think The Beatles help get through daily life whether you like someone and they don't know, new love, old love, friendship, heartbreak, the list goes on. It's just great knowing them well enough to be able to find the perfect song to match your feelings everyday.
Also, having not come out to my family or most of my friends the constant battle is always helped by a certain few Beatles songs that I listen to daily.

OfflineThe Beatles got me through exams. I know it sounds kind of stupid compared to a lot of the stories posted in this thread so far, and I applaud you all for your bravery and courage
But yes, exams were kind of difficult for me, and although I ended up failing most of them, the music reminded me that everything is going to be alright.
They're also currently getting me through high school. I used to go with the flow and do what people wanted me to do before I found the Beatles. Now I'm my own person and it's helping me to get through my education much more easily.

OfflineThe Beatles made me a hippie and made me try drugs and transcendental meditation.
^Haha.
Their music gets me through "growing pains"; school and such. I have a very positive outlook on life because of them. They get me through break-ups, deaths, when I'm down in the dumps, PMSing (Yes. PMSing), and basically everything. Their music is always there to pick me up.
