But I don't think that was a good arrengement.

In My Life doesn't suit (for me tough) a jazz ballad.

No, unfortunately the piano is way too fast. My computer has been acting up, so I'm not sure if this video will show up, but I can play a version similar to this.

When I was on music camp, one of the teachers asked me to play the ukulele on a song, so the teacher showed me some chords, and after 30 minutes of teaching, I learned to play 'Back In The U.S.S.R.'

I didn't notice it before, but during the coda to Free As A Bird, Paul does these really nice Come Together-style bass runs. Nothing to do with the ukulele but there you go. Thanks for posting that clip Zig - I'd not seen it before.

Thanks Joe. I was hoping someone would doubt me (even slightly) and force me to watch the video again.

At about 2:19 in, the director talks about his decision to not use George in the scene and why he regrets that decision – he did not know George played the uke on the song!

I guess I should have checked here first.

I'm not 100% sure of that. I seem to remember that on the "Extra Features" disc of the Anthology DVD's there was a "making of" section showing how the video was conceived/created. I seem to remember the video's director lamenting the fact that he did NOT have George play the uke at the end of the video.

Does anyone else recall this, or will I be 'forced' to watch the extra features disc again?

I bought the Mahalo for $40 and the Oscar Schmidt for $100 but it was originally priced at $150. That's why I like uke's, they are relatively inexpensive, easy to learn and fun to play.
