The "complete" lyrics for Scrambled Eggs were written for this performance. 1965 Paul would have had no problems with chicken wings, he was still a meat eater. There's lots of vegetarians I think would be surprised that eggs aren't allowed, I thought that was vegan.

The other day I was watching a Doctor Who episode and they mentioned The Beatles and Elvis several times.

I saw the new Star Trek movie today. I'm a moderate fan, but I had a giggle at the villain Khan, who went by the name John Harrison at the first of the movie.

Its so weird to think that he was wirting Yesterday around the same time as I'm Down, and Helter Skelter around the same time as I Will, and having the vocal talent to sing both so well and with such, like, feeling. ^ Not to knock Paul as he is so talented, and I love his screamy voice and screamy, rock 'n' roll songs but I sometimes wish he didn't try and be so like Little Richard. I mean, yes, do the screaming. You have to do the screaming. But I can often almost hear an American accent. It's just taking it a bit too far, I think.

I still love Paul though, and his voice (all of them). How can you not? a-hard-days-night-paul-11

Paul's voice is amazing in my opinion and sometimes underrated. I've been listening to the Anthology version of "Long Tall Sally" a lot lately. A damn good Little Richard impression for a young Liverpool lad!

The other day my Dad was watching Wings Over America on TV. I was meant to be revising but I looked in during Hi Hi Hi, and I though, "God, that guy's got a good voice,". Normally I don't think about how good a singer Paul is, I kind of just take it for granted becuase of the genius of his lyrics and melodies, and the fact that its the Beatles. But I had a kinda "Oh. Wow," moment with his singing then.
