I just got really excited at seeing all of these rooms aha. Anyway, in the words of Jet !, let's  stay-on-topic.

I think it's great you're going through a phase,

and I'm awfully glad it'll all be over in a couple

of days

Another decorating idea: I just printed off pictures of all my heroes/idols and bordered one wall-edge from top to bottom one one side, and all the pictures of friends/family/pets etc. on the other side.

You could use all those pics to form your own album cover on one wall- Sgt. JET!

That. Is. Awesome.

Thank you for the idea. It'll take a lot of work, considering the cutting/pasting or photoshopping, but I've got time.

Okay, being on topic…. my friend just sent me a copy of “Corn Flakes With John Lennon ” by Robert Hilburn and I'm excited to read it.

I portion out my paycheck to buy Beatles things.  I recently spent 40 bucks on posters of The Beatles.  My favorite of the ones I bought are the 4 “psychedelic posters”  Its the ones you may see at the top of the page sometime…  Ringo has a dove, Johns eyes are swirly.    I would have to say on average though I spend 20 bucks a week on The Beatles.  I got about 12 shirts of theirs, 5 or so records, about 20 posters, the stereo box set, a tattoo, shot glasses, pint glasses, dollars bills with their faces on them, buttons, pins, salt n pepper shakers,   just all sorts of stuff.

I am working on getting the yellow submarine toilet seat

Tattoo! :O I have recently bought some Beatles fabric online which I am going to make a pillow out of and I bought LIFE magazine with George on the cover. I would say I have about 7 mugs, approx 50 records (Beatles and post Beatles, not including singles) Trivial Pursuit, socks, shoelaces, badges, bed sheet covers (my fave!), a flipbook, plate, salt and pepper shakers. You name it, I have it! (Probably) I'd say I own about 27 T-Shirts, no lie. I bought 4 when I went to Liverpool and a hoodie! In the past month, I reckon I spent over £100 on Beatle stuff. To be fair though, it was my Birthday and I went to England for the day to go record hunting! 🙂

I bought the DVD box set of Help ! with the script and the photo book.
And the Help ! bluray.
And the box set of MMT with the records and the dvd/bluray combo.
And the Yellow Submarine bluray.
And the Living in the Material World bluray.

If a mod could nip in and get these four posts (including this one) then the thread would be all nice and tidy. ???

Not much

I had a Beatles’ Psychedelic beach towel given to me by my son…..that was washed to oblivion and a Yellow Submarine mug that I gave away to a friend’s 8 year old Thai daughter who’s amazingly developed a passion for the cartoon and the music

But recently I came across a metal Sgt. Pepper cover for sale at auction and bought for a few baht.

My condo is minimalist white…….Spartanly furnished with just some abstract art and guitars around the walls……… But I have a corner by the door that’s become a little bit of England……A small union jack packing case just behind the door and the Pepper cover on the wall in pride of place. If I come across anything else Beatles’ related…difficult to do in Thailand…..I’ll find space for it here.

A Hard Day’s Night 2009 remaster and the 2014 2-disc edition dvd of the same name.

Why I didn’t buy these sooner I have no idea!

I bought issue one of History of Rock magazine, which focuses on 1965. It was quite expensive (£10) but contains a lot of stuff that I’d never seen before. Archive interviews from the NME and Melody Maker, news stories and gossip from the time. Very Beatles-heavy with several interviews. Those journalists had incredible access to the band.

I just got the super deluxe editions of Tug Of War and Pipes Of Peace Extra Texture and Dark Horse (now I finally have all George’s solo albums), an 1 with the blu ray disks. I was most excited about 1, but now my DVD player is being weird and only playing in black and white and I’ve tried to fix it but tbh idk what I’m doing.paul-mccartney

Maybe the cord (usually it’s one of the coloured red, yellow or white ones ) that connects the colour to the TV got jolted out? You can try going to the TV menu and going to “colour” selection and checking if one of the bars have been moved.

Daniel said Well a few weeks ago I got a Revolver shirt, and Help !(the movie)

I sold off all my t-shirts, except for the Fully printed 2 sided Rubber Soul T-shirt.  That’s my go-to t shirt when I go watch bands playing live.  I get many, many, many compliments on it!

I got it fixed now. I had the cords plugged into the wrong places.

I still have my double-sided Rubber Soul t-shirt. Got it over 20 years ago and loved it; got too holey and unwearable but have never been able to throw it out. Best item of clothing i’ve ever had.
