Well, I knew the story about George waiting for his friends. But I didn't get the "Drive My Car" thing.

Azulejo... I didn't know that. Maybe it's because we don't usually talk about tile things in our house. (my dad speaks Spanish to us.)

Yes because in Spanish Blue Jay and Tile for the bathroom walls is the same word : Azulejo, and then one day looking at the walls of my bathroom (which are blue), I realized : "I have a Blue Jay Bathroom!!" .

I wrote this short story about this kid who claimed to have this goldfish but wouldnt show anyone. He ends up getting sick and Grammy takes him to see Doctor Robert, who diagnoses Little Jimmy (the kid) with pnumonia or however its spelled.

Why couldn't I have found this 3 weeks ago? I had to make a speech but I figured I couldn't talk about the beatles for only 2 minutes so I chose the Battle of Britain

Not an esssay but this week I had to teach my students different ways to say Hello and Good-bye.

As a warm up I showed them a Rock Band video that a player uploaded with the lyrics and the harmonies and I invited my students to sing. Nobody wanted. I thought "Poor kids, this is going to be a long semester for them"

Now next week I'm giong to show them Barbie Girl by Aqua to review Present of Be and I'm going to make them sing "I'm a Barbie girl... in a Barbie world.." *making evil teacher's voice*

In 6th grade I put, and I'm paraphrasing here, " I'm shure I looked very foolish standing up on that hill." But nobody got it because I was, and still am, the sole Beatles fan.
