OfflineJoe, ive removed my post since you espressed frustration that I also posted
the info elsewhere. if I was posting about something other than a
serious beatles inquiry, you could call it spam, but I really dont know
what my sin was here. still, I've removed the offenseive material
monocle = glass onion evidence below

reference to "onion monocle" in 1974 novel

OfflineOh great, another loony who's perpetuating stoned nonsense theories from the 1960s.
morepaulisdead – I don't mind people with weird ideas sharing them here (although yours appears to be pretty flimsy), but please don't come on my forum just to copy and paste messages that you've left elsewhere. Thanks.
Incidentally, he definitely sings "another clue for you all". I still don't understand what 'proof' it would be if he'd sung "more", apart from it being grammatically nonsensical.
By the way, I'm English and I've never heard of a monocle being referred to as a glass onion. Don't believe everything you read on Wikipedia.
Oh right, OK. Was that really a serious Beatles enquiry? Sorry, I presumed it was just a joke.
For the record, I've said before that I don't mind people plugging their stuff here, but I prefer it if they don't just reproduce something they've already posted elsewhere. It feels spammy.
If anyone's curious and wants to read the initial thread, it's here.
I guess you're right about the monocle thing, though I've never heard it used that way. I presumed Lennon made it all up. Must be an antiquated expression (much like monocles themselves).

OfflineOh and
"threw the line in—'the Walrus was Paul'—just to confuse everybody a bit more. It could have been 'The fox terrier is Paul.' I mean, it's just a bit of poetry. I was having a laugh because there'd been so much gobbledeygook about Pepper—play it backwards and you stand on your head and all that."
