I dont think its as black or white as all remixes are wrong however most are awful.

I dont have a problem with a fan remix of Love Me Do, go ahead and do it but expect comments that might not be all that positive, 1 reason being what you are playing it is very precious to many people including myself so its dangerous ground to be walking on. I personally prefer remixes that show some creativity, for example not looping 4 lyrics from a song around a boring beat for 7 minutes and add in some catchy words and sounds, and not taking the song ...

Sorry, but I hate unofficial remixes. What is different between what you're doing, and the vbeat remixes of "Love Me Do" that has everyone up in arms? In the days of vinyl bootlegs they would have been called 'outfakes'. I don't see why the digital has changed that. I wish you success in your endevour for those who have interest, but I believe you are doing them a disservice. Just an opinion.

I am making a bootleg album consisting of mixes I've made. If you'd like to help, you can. Whether it's help with mixing, finding certain audio files online, or just a good ear to give some feedback. I will post the final product on the forums when it's finished.
