OfflineI love the whole experience of buying records. The smell that hits you when you first walk into a crammed shop full of vinyl. Bliss. (Smells similar to a carpeted library, which I also love the smell of). The searching through dozens and dozens of them until you find one that you quite like. Maybe getting the store owner to play it while you look for some more (only nice ones do that though). Much better than buying a CD off of the internet.

OfflineI got a couple cool items. Aside from the usual stuff like CD's, books, t shirts, etc. Some of the stuff i really value include an early hardcover 2nd or 3rd print of John's in his own write, a Corgi made die cast yellow submarine, a set of the mcfarlane yellow submarice figures and some cool records including a copy of Ringo with the book and some interesting Dutch records.
Actually while we're on this topic i'm thinking of picking up a set of 1964 bobbleheads off ebay. There's a couple options i'm looking at one of which i think is pretty cheap except that George is missing the back of his head and is unattached from the rest of his body. I can glue it though and it should still look presentable from the front.
I live in Toronto, and there used to be an incredible store here called the Beatlemania shoppe. The guy had everything at a time when you couldn't buy much beatles memorabilia at all. He used to float around and move locations and i'm pretty sure he's closed up shop a number of years ago, but man that store was like a wonderland.

My Lennon pants come from Sotheby's…the Lennon hat from Christie's..Lennon's towels are also from Christie's…etc.I deal with Frank Caiazzo…Paul Wane of TRACKS…and others. My major items come from the auction houses…the other items come from some of the best memorabilia dealers in the US and the UK…

OfflineDealing with Beatles memorabilia for as long as I have…it's amazing to see the prices that the good stuff gets at auction. If you've got a piece of Beatles memorabilia…it will rise in value. If you've got something that was signed…handwritten…owned…used…touched…or worn…by any of The Beatles…you COULD be sitting on a small fortune.

Yeah,…he's been closed for a while now.Where do you get your stuff???
Oh ya i thought so. It's a shame thought because it was a great place. The funny thing is i used to pop down there back when i was a broke student. Now that i actually have some disposable money, the place doesn't exist! ALthough i guess it's far easier now to buy beatle stuff as lots of stores have trinkets and what not officially licensed and otherwise. If i'm in the mood to pick up something more unusual or rare i usually check out ebay now. Which reminds me that i am waiting on those bobbleheads i ended up buying them.
I still can't get over that list you provided mate. it's unreal.

OfflineWhat's unreal?…my stuff?…nah…I've been lucky to be able to have the stuff I've got. There are other collectors with better stuff then mine. I love John Lennon…I'm always looking for Lennon memorabilia…stuff that he wore…or owned. The unusual stuff…when I do a show,I always get a great reception from the fans…I like sharing the collection with the fans…what's the use of having the stuff if you don't share it…My wife has a huge collection of vintage Disney memorabilia…toys…artwork from the films…she has stuff from 1933 thru 1963…the house looks like a museum…

OfflineHow can you be sure that it is all original though, and not just any old necktie that someone has copied Ringo's signature on??
I've always got my eye out for things like these (on ebay, mainly) but I have no idea how to to tell what is actually what it says it is. I imagine the majority of what's on ebay isn't.

OfflineHey fabfouremily…Because I do my research on Beatles autographs…and I've learned from the best…and I buy from the best. I've been doing this for almost 26 years…I'm pretty good at spotting fakes…the Ringo signed necktie was given to a Princess Diana celebrity clothing auction…Ringo was asked to donate an item of clothing…he sent them a maroon colored tie…signed it…and I also have a signed note from Ringo on his company letterhead…(Rocca Bella Inc.)."Here's a necktie for your auction…Good Luck….Ringo"…
Beatles autographs are the most forged autographs on the market because of their value. If you want real Beatles autographs or Beatles handwriting…your going to have to pay for it.There are no sets of Beatles autographs or a signed Beatles album for
100 bucks.

So…did you buy his tooth or were you outbid at auction?
But seriously folks…some of our Forum members have posted pics of some of their loot. If you have any to share, it would be fantastic.
Thanks!
