I don't think that quarrel was of any relevance. You can see John and George playing songs against Paul and taking breakfast with some hippie stalker and making jokes in the film Imagine.

I'm sure they kick each other's asses for a while, to release some steam, you know, and then they smoke the pipe of peace.

It funny, John, someone that cared so much about peace, and love, and whom created some of the most pro-peace songs ever, and George, someone whom believed in the indian culture, which teachers similar things as "Love your fellow man", and such. Both of them getting into a fist fight, that's weird, what's even weirder is that I could picture both of them being excellent fighters. xD.

Yeah and I also think that despite some fantastic contributions, George never felt like John and Paul really considered him to be their "equal" in the group and here John is bringing in this crazy woman and acting like her contributions should be on the same scale as the actual band members. I think George just felt disrespected and annoyed, so he and John got into it. John wasn't one to back down, so it wouldn't really suprise me if it did come to blows, but I think that's one piece of information that we will never really know.

George was a bit fed up with John's game of not communicating by voice. Yoko would often speak for him, and this was getting in the way, the way George saw it. This only added to the frustration of no one agreeing on whether or not to do a show at the end of the Get Back sessions, on a boat, or in Arabia, or whatever.

I guess what I was trying to find out is what was the fight about? What was the cause? Anyone know anything about that? For instance the Paul/George argument was over Paul trying to dictate George's playing - but what was this over.

As to whether they really got passed it, while George played on John's albums, John never played on George's albums. And Lennon was very bitter over George's autobiography - which, according to John, slighted him.

So any one know what the Lennon/Harrison fist fight was over? It is the only physical fight between any of the four I've ever ...

Even though it was probably the most violent fight, it was probably the only one between the two. They were peaceful to each other otherwise. They remained the best friends since the split out of the four.

Yeah, they got into a fight, or so I've read. No big deal...it was a tense time for them and they were both passionate about their music. The group was already drifting toward a breakup by then.

They put it behind them and moved on. They played on each other's records after the split.

For years I have heard different accounts regarding an argument
between John and George that was so intense they actually came to blows.
This was during the Let It Be sessions - although the cameras were not
rolling at the time. I am not confusing this with the McCartney Harrison
argument.

I've heard it was agreed that they would
never bring it up. And I remember reading one interview where John seems
to go out of his way to say that he and George argued but it didn't
come to blows.

Just wondering if any of our more astute
