Just curious if any of the Fabs were known to have referenced their other relatively successful predecessors? (We all know they did a whole song in The Shadows' style)

Don't think there were any direct references as such, but I'm sure there was some influence along the way.

Paul thought enough of guitarist Mick Green to hire him for his Russian album and Run Devil Run. I was fortunate enough to meet Mick a few times at Pirates gigs, his amp nearly sliced my head off it was so loud and sharp! But that's my fault for getting down the front. Great guitarist and definitely an influence on many British bands of the 60's & 70's.

" They should do Marmite flavour."
