It's nice to hear from you again, jenny wren. The first thing that came to my mind would be a quick re-write of the lyrics to "I'll Follow The Sun:" "… and if I choose 'un-friend,' in the end you will know, oh oh oh…"

And then there'd be a bunch of songs about Twitter, like "I'm Only Tweeting," and "While My Guitar Gently Tweets." :)

I can imagine Paul and John teasing the McLennonites with flirty photos and quotes, just to see the reactions.

Wonder if they would have their own t.v. reality show?

Maybe. We could call it "Meat the Beatles!" and basically have them going through A Day In The Life and all the while they're making funny jokes and doing stupid stuff. Kinda like AHDN, but in a modern age way.

If The Beatles were a band today, they would know how to use Pro Tools.

They would use auto-tune, but not on their vocals.

They'd release vinyl as well as digital.

They were the Original, and thank god, matured to make better LP's like Rubber Soul, Revolver, & Sgt.Pepper, unlike the boy bands of Today & gone Tomorrow!

There really isn't any motivation to make creative albums like these. The Beatles had creative potential, and they made wonderful albums. Nowadays, there's no potential, and they're all the same records.

Not sure what you mean by "no potential" @thisbirdhasflown. I'm not a fan of where modern music is but i do feel that a new energy, direction and burst of creativity is there but something is holding it back. What that something is i dont know; executives, producers, the artists themselves - not sure, but something is stopping the music scene from being reinvigorated which it so badly needs. Nothing stands out as different and exciting and very few artists seem to be willing to do what The Beatles did with Revolver and say to the fans and critics "we're going this way, like it or not, thats up to you" whilst being confident in the results and brave in knowing that whilst some fans would look elsewhere and be lost, others would be gained.

Yeah, that's exactly what I meant. I normally thought they have no potential. But you're right @meanmistermustard. There is something holding people back. I wish that people would let them create a daring record. The record companies have no idea what's going on because they're failing too. That's why I like music from the older times.

ahdn_paul_06 There are musical innovations and changes in today's music like auto tune was an innovation. I think the main reason the music industry doesn't get as much money is cause of the internet and illegal downloading
