Ahaha, but what if my wife doesn't want the kids to be raised on The Beatles? Hmm…
I don't believe there are any orphanages for adults. Divorce could work though
Before you marry the woman, YOU HAVE to make sure she loves the Beatles.
I'm so making sure my husband likes the Beatles before I marry him. That is one of the qualities that is needed in a man/woman for a Beatle-fan.
Ahaha, I wouldn't mind if they weren't a fan (I can always convert them!), but I would mind if they hated them and refused to listen to any of it. Then, we would have a problem.
Also, I think this is the first time I've been online at the same time as someone else without it being a completely ridiculous time. Where are you from?

OfflineI too am new here but no where as young as you guys. I'm 18 living in a small conservative town in NorCal. A lot of people I know up here like The Beatles, not as much as me (they call me odsessed). I can only think of a handful of people where I live who hate the Beatles. I don't care that they do, it's not my choice and I like to be a pacifist whenever I can, but one of the worse Beatle hater in my area just happens to be my twin brother. Second, his best friend. He doesn't like hippies and is afraid of things that are different. Anyways, welcome.
Also, kicking your kids out of your house for not loving The Beatles? I would call you bad people if I didn't plan on calling my first born Diet Coke and my second born First Born.

OfflineMy friends that "hate" the Beatles are just a little weird about it, like if we're at a bar and we're going to sing karaoke, they'll say 'Are you going to sing the Beatles? Let's sing something else!' but then I'll say, 'There's nothing that I know or like better so I'm singing Octopus's Garden whether you like it or not!' I think they're just a bit jealous because they don't "get it" yet, but then I'll tell them that "getting" the Beatles isn't an impossible task, in fact, it's eeeaaaaasy.

Be careful guys… here in Mexico there's a saying "Whatever you can't see at home… you will get it". Example, my nephew says "I won't get married with a blonde girl" and most likely he will. My brother-in-law hated women with freckles and my sister has tons of them…
So you might end up marrying someone who thinks the Beatles are

You can make a deal. A former boyfriend asked me "When we get married, are you gonna listen to the Beatles all the time?" and I replied back "When we get married, are you gonna watch NFL all the time?". He didn't say anything.
Now I know why I didn't get married with him. Fantastic! Another reason for loving the Beatles!!

I have converted so many people in the past year to being fans. It is like love at 1st sight for them as it was for me…
Oh, and I'm from the USA!

Ah, fair enough. I'm in Australia, so I pretty much never see anyone online.
I have to say, my Help! DVD is really making it's way around. Everyone in my class wants to borrow it, ahaha. Their reaction when they first hear the music is pretty much just astonishment. They've pretty much never heard anything like it before (funny, because pretty much every band was influenced by them). And when they hear a song that's familiar to them, the "I KNOW THIS SONG! I didn't know it was by them!" just makes me laugh.

Wow guys! So many posts! Also, I know for a FACT that I'm youngest. I'm twelve. But, I'll be thirteen on August 29th.
Also, when I wear my Beatles shirt to school, people just see it and say:
"How could you like The Beatles? They broke up."
Then I just say:
"It's not about the breakup. It's about before and after it."
Also, I said "Blue Meanie" in art class, and the kid next to me kicked me so hard that I had a limp for two days.
Also, I made a Beatles website, but it's still rather empty. I could use some help to build it. It's called beatlebase.webs.com.
If you join I can make you an admin and you can help me build it

Is it surprising or just sad that I'm the only one in my 8th hour who knows who the beatles are? (Including my 40 year old teacher)
Sad. I feel greatly sorry for your classmates. Not knowing who the Beatles are? What a pain they have to live with!
