Eh, “Glee” isn’t on my radar at all, I really don’t care one way or another. And for the 285th time, I’m glad I can’t see youtube clips at work!

I do like Jane Lynch.

GEORGE: In fact, The Detroit Sound. JOHN: In fact, yes. GEORGE: In fact, yeah. Tamla-Motown artists are our favorites. The Miracles. JOHN: We like Marvin Gaye. GEORGE: The Impressions PAUL & GEORGE: Mary Wells. GEORGE: The Exciters. RINGO: Chuck Jackson. JOHN: To name but eighty.

She is one of the best parts of the show.

All You Need Is Love always needed the “oh, oh, oh, oh, oh” parts in place of the trombones during the choruses. What was George Martin thinking of?george-martin

Glee is a guilty pleasure of mine, seeing how it’s filled with such offensive things, INCLUDING THE MOCKERY OF AN EPISODE THAT WAS ‘GRILLED CHEESUS’, (which played with my emotions because as a flawed but relatable character played by the admired Chris Colfer, Kurt singing ‘I Want To Hold Your Hand ‘. SHAME.) I was expecting a beatle tribute episode when glee first came along and did the Britney and Madonna tribute episodes. The news, was very exciting to me, ok? Not gonna lie. I just really wanna see Santana Lopez and Demi Lovato’s character sing Here Comes The Sun .

I really hope they don’t screw it up.

Welcome to the boards BrettB

Glee is a guilty pleasure of mine as well and I too thought they would have done a Beatle episode earlier as well. I was pretty much not going to watch this season, but then Cory died & then I found out they were going to do two Beatle episodes. So, yea I might watch those episodes.

Because you KNOW you want to hear it, here are a couple of selections.  ‘Let It Be ‘ certainly could have been worse, but ‘A Hard Day’s Night ‘ is exactly as terrible as you could imagine.

Why the constant need for so much smoothing and autotuning? Don’t people realize it’s better to hear a human voice make a mistake rather than a robot singing it perfectly?

"White Album - My joint-fave Beatles album along with Revolver. They show the two sides of Beatles. Revolver's very controlled - even though it's also very innovative. The White Album's playful and almost ramshackle. It's like a scrapbook kept by a genius. Fantastic stuff."

Not these days, since Auto Tuning in its current form been around since at least the mid-90s. The kids are so used to it that they think a song without it is garbage.

By the way, if you all keep posting this “Glee does the Beatles” stuff, I’m going to have to do a Fab Files episode on it since it looks like they have enough material to go with. Perhaps split the episode up so half can be the Glee stuff and the other half would be “Kids Bop does the Beatles” stuff.

How on earth did they get the piano intro on Let It Be to be so empty and thin? Its ghastly. Makes you want to drill out your ears before the vocals kick in – which wouldn’t be a bad thing.

Cant get AHDN to work. My guardian angel keeping an eye out.

Oooh, got to the Get Back chorus, they really do manage to nail the move from bad to unbelievably stinky shit. Take away everything else and the piano might be saveable. What is that tapping sound? Is it fake handclaps? The yelping and all those bits are terribly contrived.

AHDN isn’t too bad to be honest, and I don’t mind Get Back either. Let It Be is a bit poor, but 2 out of 3 aint bad.

Just so you all know Paul offered some songs to Glee back in 2010. Again, there have been Beatles songs as well as Lennon (solo) & Wings; however, I thought would have been Beatles episode done within the first two, maybe even three seasons. Britney Spears already had two episodes.
