I’d like to see if it works when you start with someone like Mozart.  How “tight” do the connections between degrees have to be?  Like, for example, start with Pope John Paul II.  Could I terminate that one right away by just saying “John” and “Paul” are also names of Beatles?  Or would I have to make stronger connections, by pointing out that Pope John Paul II once shared the stage with Bob Dylan at World Youth Day, and Bob Dylan smoked pot with the Beatles?

Actually you can connect directly the Beatles with the Pope because John Paul II is the head of the Vatican, and The Vatican forgave the Beatles “We’re-bigger-than-Jesus” controversy”

Sorry  I don’t want to sound.. snobbish.. I just love this game. a-hard-days-night-george-9

That reminds me of the days I said I wanted to name my future kids Juan Pablo (John Paul) and Jorge Ricardo. (George Richard) My Mom was soo pleased because she was Catholic and she loved John Paul II, and because I was born the day of a Saint named Richard, and according to Mexican Catholic church, you must name your children after the Saints from the Day they or their parents are born.

Little she knew poor Mom. I never had children so  I never did that. It would have been cool though LOL!!!

Outstanding work!

Let’s try another random subject:  Robert E. Howard.

Ok I tried it out with youtube.com. I picked only videos that appeared on the side of the video I was watching. I’ll let you decide if this counts or not. Here we go, mimeograph in 9:

Mimeograph machine, IPRC; The Lives of Others trailer; The Diving Bell and the Butterfly trailer released; Chains of Love – the dirtbombs – THE DIVING BELL AND THE BUTTER; Audio from the VELVET UNDERGROUND -PALE BLUE EYES UMG; The Velvet Underground – Heroin (song only); Cocaine, heroin, marijuana…; Eric Clapton – Cocaine; Eric Clapton – Layla, which was written when he was trying to woo Pattie Boyd, who was George Harrison ‘s wife at the time …

Born in the year 1942

Paul McCartney was also born in the year 1942

Paul McCartney was a member of the Beatles.

That one was too easy, I am going to do another.

1. I was born to my mother. (Funny fact of life: You tend to be born to your mother, especially if she's your biological mother.)

2. My mother has interviewed Elvis Costello.

3. Elvis Costello collaborated with Paul. (“My Brave Face”)

4. Paul McCartney was in the Beatles.

Who can beat that?

(imagines Paul websurfing, finding this site, reading my post (!!!!), creating an account, and posting saying, “I am Paul McCartney . None of you can even come close to beating that.” Then she imagines Ringo doing the same thing and saying “What about me?” like in that Comic Relief video.)

If I seem to act unkind, it's only me, it's not my mind that is confusing things.

Well, I think she wrote an article about Elvis Costello in the newspaper she works at. I can ask my mom and if she gives permission, I could possibly post it.

Oh this looks like fun. I'm going to try one.

1. Mathematics

2. Pythagoras who created the Pythagorean theorem used in geometry for solving triangle sides

3. Tetractys which Pythagoras came up with. It is a triangle made of 10 points in 4 rows.

4. Fire which is one of the elements the tetractys represent.

5. Chicago which was burned by a huge fire in 1871.

6. The Beatles performed a concert in Chicago in 1965 at Comiskey Park. (Former home of the Chicago White Sox)

From math to the Beatles in six steps. Never thought that would happen, this is way too much fun.
