Yes, it was MMT. That was the first album my cousins turned me on to. There is a generation whose imagination was sparked by Smurfs. There is another generation that had their imagination fueled by Teletubbies.
My imagination was fed by a Walrus.
That could also explain my fondness for seafood.

OfflineThis may sound horrible…but I loved music of today. I loved rap, dance music, and all that stuff. (uggh…) I am so happy I found the Beatles. I even liked… boy bands. At once I liked… the boy that sounds like a girl. (I AM NOT GOING TO SAY HIS NAME.) Now I cannot imagine my life without the Beatles.

Don't you mean "her" name?
Sorry. I had to.
OH MY WORD LOLOL THAT IS HILARIOUS!!! And sorry for the mistake, I did mean her. But it was a horrid thing to like her. I was just going to what was popular, but I quickly fell out of THAT cycle. Luckily.

And please please do not think wrongly of me because of my past! I was lead astray… But luckily good music saved my sanity. (Well, most of it…)

Nigel, when you're old and arrogant and a (self-professed) musical know-it-all like me, you'll find you don't need to apologize for any of your musical tastes at all – you can rationalize that you love the Beatles over anything else, therefore you know what you're talking about, therefore, anything you like is automatically great AND YOU DON'T NEED TO APOLOGIZE FOR IT!!

OfflineI was a pessismist and a very "uneducated" person.
When I started listening to the Beatles, my grades went up and I was encouraged to learn. I swear, my I.Q. went up like 50 points. My kids are going to be friggin' certified geniuses….
And I started thinking positively, unlike I had before.

They are who exactly? And also, I didn't know any of the great music that the Beatles expose you to (Simon and Garfunkel, CSNY, Tom Petty, etc).
