Had a Georgey moment yesterday:
I was at a barbecue restaurant with my parents and grandparents, and all of a sudden dad pointed at the ceiling and said, “They’re playing Fab.” And sure enough, they were playing “When We Was Fab”. It was the highlight of my entire day week.

Offline I was in some town on Kingsday, and a man was busking on the street. I tried to listen and heard familiar lyrics. It was A Hard Day’s Night he was playing!
Also, I went to a bed store this afternoon, and first Hello Goodbye was on, and a while later Paul’s Silly Love Songs

Offline It’s me again!
Was just watching Castle, and the episode was about a band, and the killer was a band member (the bass player) who got thrown out, and he said: ”They Pete Bested me!” or something like that, to which Castle answered: ”Well, actually Pete Best was a drummer. Stu Sutcliffe would have been a more accurate description”.

Offline Walking out on a dock yesterday, and a workman had a radio with a schlocky orchestral version of Norwegian Wood playing. I know this has been said before, but ever time I hear such an instrumental, it makes me annoyed. The original would be so much better!
