Just saw the ad for Good 'Ol Freda on the telly, I'm excited that and grr George a-hard-days-night-george-10 (leave me alone I'm 15 :P )

Was skimming through the Ordinary Level Irish book and saw the lads had a comprehension in it. According to the book The Beatles are "the biggest band of all time" can't say I disagree :)

"When I'm 64" was on a documentary about the elderly with Alzheimer's on the telly

My friend got me a Beatles boxset DVDs for Christmas, I hope I don't have it already, if so Secret Santa anyone? a-hard-days-night-george-10

True. HeyTrud is doing her best to raise a Paulette, but sometimes those things don't work out as planned.

That's right!  I'm doing my best!!  The PM's could be a nice, Beatley Moment & initiation into womanhood at 18!! a-hard-days-night-george-10  Stay tuned.....

Good luck on your Finals to all!!  apple01heart

Yes, students, study diligently for those finals, and I will get the textbooks ready for my students for the spring semester. Deal? Deal.

My sister was in some kind of museum and whatsapped me to say she saw a young Ringo lookalike. She was all excited about it.

I found out that a lady I work with was caught up in Beatlemania back in the day. I bought her a copy of NEW. This morning she came in saying that she had me to thank for the song she couldn't get out of her head. It was "On My Way to Work". {happy, happy me}

This lady just brought me a Christmas present. heart The Rough Guide to the Beatles, 3rd edition, by Chris Ingham.  Can I just skip work today and go home and read it?

I drew the number 9 in our game of dirty Santa at work today. And it was lucky. I got some toys for my dog :-) Thank you, John.

What is dirty Santa? No, no, I didn't just ask that! I don't want to know. The truth will probably just disappoint!

In short, you can steal a present from someone who has already opened a present (up to 3 times) or you can pick a new present from the pile to open. The dirty part is about the stealing.

Perhaps he's thinking the forum will get rolled back again so that comment of his will go "poof." :-)

Of all i things on this site i didn't want to read #1 would be mja's library fixation - and considering what has been posted in places that's quite something he has achieved.

If anyone gets invited to go to a library with mja decline then run away fast.

I was on fb scrolling through my news feed just a little while ago when I noticed my friend Matt's status:

"HELP! I need somebody, HELP! Not just anybody!" I really need help bleeding my brakes. If anyone is familiar with this task you would already know that its a booger to do it by yourself. Any takers? —

listening to The Beatles.

Also Saturday I went to see The Hobbit. During one of the trailers, I can't remember which one, this guy is running past posters and one of them was John. After the movie, when I got in my car "Get Back" was on. a-hard-days-night-john-1

I'm helping a student with a citation question, and this is a example we just found:

One Work by Three, Four, or Five Authors
For the first text citation of a work by three to five authors cite all authors.  For all subsequent citations, include only the surname of the first author followed by et al. If the work is cited more than once within the same paragraph, omit the year after the first citation.

1st Citation:
Lennon, McCartney, Starr, and Harrison (1969) noted in their research…
2nd Citation (and further citations):
Lennon et al. (1969) provided evidence that…
2nd Citation in same paragraph:
     Lennon et al. found that…

Watching the brilliant 'Life of Brian' at school today, and smiling internally to yourself when it comes up 'made by Handmade Films' and 'executive producer George Harrison'. :)

^ Yeah, me to. The first time I watched it I just didn't get it at all, but I've seen it several times since then and it has me in stiches now :)
