Wax models, mannequins, they all creep me out to the max. But I wouldn't mind seeing Beatle wax models! They look pretty neat-looking. Didn't they use some in the Sgt. Pepper album cover? I believe so.
Question? Is there anyone on this site that has actually seen this models?

Euggggh- major shudder. Freaky looking! Not insanely uncanny, but looks like them enough. In general, I think it's a lost cause to attempy wax figures; they are never like the original people.
Query: who would want a wax figure of themselves anyways? If I were Paul or Ringo… I repeat, euuugh.

When I first saw them in London they had them dressed from the 1968 White Album period, but now they've changed back to these.

Yes, and they are AWFUL! Madame Tussauds have them in London and they look nothing like them at all……………………..as you can quite clearly see from the above photo! Who ever made George – ugghhhhhh!!!

Are these the same as the others on Sgt. Pepper? They don't look the same but still have that creepy factor.

No. The one's on Pepper were the original ones (before Madame T took precise care on the 'dummies'). They replaced these with the ones I saw and then replaced them with the ones now………..
I'm not sure how much you know about these things, but today if you are going to have a waxwork done (assuming you are still alive of course!) they take every conceivable measurement of your body and many, many photos to get is 'just' right. In the Beatles' day it was more guesswork….and we see how well they failed!

Ok then. I suppose you could rank a celebrity by how long their replica is there before the melt it! Plus, the whole museum is probably an analog uncanny valley.
I think it's mostly the hair with the first
ones.

They aren't that bad. Sure they are pretty creepy, but……………..yea, I am going to have to agree with you all, they are weird. I don't think I like them. And yes they are blonde. Whoever made the wax figures did a horrible job.

I remember seeing these went I went to London around 1966! They have to be the same ones surely as I went to Madame Tussauds c. 1966 and the Beatles were definitely there. Blimey, it's just hit me after 44 years that I saw them!

I think that the wax models don't look like them, truly. I mean, they made George look awful! How someone could do that?
