I’m sorry James, Sean and Dhani… but this idea sounds awful. I hope it’s an April Fool’s joke.

Sir Paul McCartney ‘s musician son said he would be “happy” to form a new band with the sons of the other three Beatles.
James McCartney said the idea had been discussed with Sean Lennon, Dhani Harrison and Ringo Starr ‘s son Zak Starkey, but it was more likely another of Starr’s sons, Jason, would be involved.
He told the BBC: “I don’t think it’s something that Zak wants to do. Maybe Jason would want to do it. I’d be up for it. Sean seemed to be into it, Dhani seemed to be into it. I’d be happy to do it.”
Asked if he thought it would ever happen, he said: “Yeah, hopefully, naturally. I don’t know, you’d have to wait and see. The will of God , nature’s support, I guess. So yeah, maybe.”
James has released two digital-only EPs and a two-disc set produced by his famous father and is currently on a small tour of the UK and Ireland.

Completely agree Mith, horrible idea so heres hoping it was a joke.
For a start why invite all the pressure? And where’s Julian? Would Sean be kicked out just before the first show and Julian joins in?
Being a cynical person, seeing that he’s on small tour, a wee bit of publicity?

Offline Well Julian has always said he doesn’t want to play with other Beatles children at all. I think Sean might go for it, but Dhani? I thought he didn’t want commercial success. And forget about Ringo’s sons… didn’t they say that it was horrible being a Beatle child?

Offline James said on his facebook that he didn’t mean to create such a hype. He was just thinking out loud about possible playing with family friends for fun. Dhani said on his facebook, “NEVER GONNA HAPPEN.” Guess James got his first taste of having to watch what he says!
