Didn't hurt at all actually. It was a little irritating. And the artist was pretty young and new, so he was really taking his time. I love it though. I am very happy with the outcome

I'm not a tattoo guy, but that one is pretty cool.
Many moons ago I actually thought about getting a "drop T" logo tattoo, but then I sobered up.
Besides, it would be my luck that an 87 year old Zig with wrinkly skin would have to explain to everyone who The Beagles are. I don't think I could stand it.

A beatle loving friends of mine (I would but I'm not a tattoo person) has two beatles tattoos.
One on his foot with fancy writing saying "now that you know who you are, what do you want to be"
The other goes around his ankle, and is the four silhouettes from the Help! album cover
looks pretty cool

Can you show us any pics? This thread actually gets quite a bit of Google traffic from people looking for Beatles tats, so it'd be good to have more examples.

My first tattoo was a Beatles one! It wraps around my lower hip, it's the piano notes to Imagine and underneath is the lyrics "Imagine all the people living for today" in his writing! I love it so much, definitely my favorite. I'll see if I can find some pictures, or just take one.

I'm somewhat against them myself, but only because those are permanent, and my ideas for tattoos are not.
Still, I've been entertaining thoughts in my head of getting one of a phoenix.
Maybe about that size. Maybe smaller. Did I mention I am such a baby when it comes to needles? So, it might just stay in my head unless I make friends with someone who is really good with a permanent marker.

I want to get a tattoo, but I am currently broke right now so I'm gonna wait.
But I was thinking of ideas like “Let It Be” on my wrist. Or maybe “Something in the way she moves…” along my rib cage . Or “Happiness is a warm gun”. Or “Tomorrow may rain so I’ll follow the sun” and then have a sun with it. Or “I’ll love to turn you on” cause that would be sexy.
I have also contemplated on getting a Mario 1-Up mushroom as a tattoo. As well as Jimmy Page's symbol ZOSO, but I think I will save Zoso for the name of my next pet. Zoso or Ringo or Bowie for pet names.
EDIT: I don't know when this happened, but I made it to the rooftop! PARTY AT APPLE ROOFTOP!!

Those are great quotes. I know a few people with the 1-up and they immediately regretted it, they liked it for about a week then they realized no one will hire them with a big green mushroom on them. I'm not trying to shut you down, just let you know what my friends say. ZOSO is a cool one, there is a Led cover band called ZOSO. Awesome pet name though!

Yeah, the whole novelty of the mushroom would wear off after about a week or so. At first I' would like: Oh I'm so cool. I have a mushroom tattoo.
Then like after a month: What was I thinking?
But if I did get the mushroom, it would be hidden like on my back or something.

I don't think I'd be able to actually get one (too permanent) but of any idea I've ever considered, I've only ever seriously considered getting the lyrics in my signature. I just think it's the epitome of Beatles.
