New York Post reports that alongside a whole load of new Beatle merchandise coming later this year, Live At The BBC is being repackaged, hopefully, but unlikely, with some bonus tracks not already out there.

Has anyone heard any more about the Beatles Live project or whatever it was called, seems to have vanished?

I remember seeing a YouTube video about it, and I wasn't quite sure what they were trying to achieve with it. I haven't heard a thing since.

Loved the bit in The Colbert Report about Paul being a veggie but having submitted roast beef or whatever it was as his favourite food during an interview with the Beatles

Just a couple of things:

* From The Examiner: "Let Us In Americana," a new Paul McCartney tribute album, will be released June 25 on the 46th anniversary of the worldwide television broadcast of the Beatles' “All You Need Is Love” in 1967 by Reviver Records.

* Check out this short film on the Abbey Road crossing. Nicely done.

From the Examiner:

Ken Michaels, host of the weekly radio show “Every Little Thing” and co-host of the Beatles news show “Things We Said Today” (with yours truly), told Beatles Examiner Friday that his new interview with author Mark Lewisohn, which he began posting on his website this week, covers a lot of ground about the author's forthcoming three-volume biography of the group. Four excerpts are now online.

So it seems I'm waiting until 13 November! I suppose it takes the elves that long to produce the extra pages by hand! If any of you start revealing spoilers ahead of time because you've gone for short version, you will become the Wil Wheaton to my Sheldon! And I will hunt you down… a-hard-days-night-george-10

Interview with Paul on the Ronnie Wood show:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v…..RDQXS9cAqI

Just started watching it, but they're raving about it at the Beatles subreddit page. Starts at 2:00.

And, no, I didn't know Ronnie Wood had a show either. ;->

Oh I didn't really know much about Stella, but she seems so cool. She seems so down to earth despite her huge success!

Right now I'm listening to the interview with Lewisohn and it's making me so excited and curious. I'm DEFINITELY going to buy this book, no matter how expensive.

Going to watch Paul on Ronnie's show soon after I've finished listening to those little bits. I never knew Ronnie had a show.

From PetaPixel:

* Photog Who Shot Beatles Concert With a Fake Press Pass Sells the Pics for $45K

I know every fan from around that time looks back and wishes they had those kind of cajones… come to think of it, you probably literally had to have cajones to pull that off; they would have highly suspicious of a female photographer.

* In NY, this weekend, one of May Pang's iconic photos of John will be on display in a gallery exhibit called “Iconic Music Photography” by Rock Paper Photos at Gallery 151.
