OfflineThere's an update on the Beatles in 3D blog that's really worth checking out. Alternate angles can be seen at the Kenwood blog. I'd include a picture, but I don't want to spoil it.
Wow, that's really good. The amount of work that it must have taken scares me. I've found by doing this site that you can disappear down the rabbit hole and find yourself spending hours or days researching the most arcane aspects of The Beatles, so to spend so long trying to recreate something like that really is awesome.
Ooh, a new site! http://www.applerecords.com/
(unless it's been around for a while and I'd not noticed it before)
Anyway, some reissue news for you all. I'm looking forward to the Billy Preston and Doris Troy reissues, less so for the others. The Jackie Lomax album is good too. Never really understood the appeal of Badfinger though.

I was thinking about how far technology has come that people can do this as a hobby. I wonder if he'll convert it to 3D? (With the glasses.)
Actually I expected something on 3D (I was looking for my glassed yesterday when I saw the link, I still have the ones I wore when I watched Avatar.. LOL!!)
And Joe you're not alone. Sometimes I have to turn off the computer when I realize how much time I spend on the Net. Maybe this guy practices his graphic designer skills with the Beatles
OK, I'm imagining a polarity of responses on this one.

My guess is, should you be a fan of Lady Gaga you'll think it's every kind of awesome. If you're on the other side of the fence you might think it something of a travesty. Good for her though – what an amazing thing to have done.

She's lucky, but totally undeserving.

Hi skye,
I do tv graphics and 3D art by trade -- but lucky for me Im actualy making money off this so yes, the Beatles 3D started out for fun to scratch an itch but has turned into a venture. So far Ive sold my work to three prominent companies and will be used for promotional purposes.
And to answer your 3D glasses question – yes Im working on that as well as 360 degree views for several of these 3D scenes. Two are close to completion so ill post as soon as they are published.
The blog is a temp thing until my website is complete and I hope that will be sometime by end of July.
Thanks for the compliments folks – its great motivation.

OfflineYou could possibly see and would naturally assume she was upset by the way things ended, but the planets prove it? So if the planets weren't positioned that way, she would have felt differently?
Are you happy with the link back? All publicity is good publicity I guess.
This is wonderful: First Job: Mailboy for The Beatles (Huffington Post)
"How would you like to work for the Beatles?" they said. "Don't you have anything better?" I asked. Fifteen minutes later I was walking through the front door of Apple Corporation in Savile Row, reporting for duty in the postroom. I owed the job to the fact that I was not a besotted fan. When I naïvely asked why Apple went to an employment agency to find staff when millions would have done the job for free, the answer was "that's just the problem."
