Youre right Seaglass. It just amazes me that we can listen to how their music developed right from John first meeting Paul.
To get back on topic, since some folk like topics to be kept right, one website that i visit often is BootlegZone. A massive collection of bootleg releases of not only the beatles and their solo work but many other bands. And before people get the idea that its a place where you can download, buy or trade bootlegs, its not. Reference only.
This might be my new favourite website: http://thegoodguise.wordpress.com/
I think I might close The Beatles Bible now – someone else has it all covered

OfflineLol. That's all I can say to that. And like Joe said, what are they tryin to prove? Honestly I could connect anything to anything else.
Ok let's do this. Star wars to a Beatles conspiracy. So you know how in the cantina there are thoes 3 aliens playing instruments? It really the three Beatles (John George And Ringo. No Paul because is OBVIOUS that he died. He's wearin no shoes on abbey road) were taken to tatoine by jabba the hut and had operations on them to make them look like aliens.
And by the way I don't belive Paul is dead so don't get all defensive on me. I (being a person who is good with photoshop) like to look at thoes crazy pictures an websites that claim Paul looks different for a laugh. I bet a five year old could tell that they just stretch the pictures.

OfflineThat site is unbelievably far-fetched. Some people need a different hobby.
(Oh, and I am totally gonna start looking for PID clues in Star Wars now. "Well, George Harrison and Harrison Ford sound similar, so…")

OfflineThe minute you start believing that Penny Lane is meaning 'the road leading to heaven' you need to put the books away, turn the computer off, go outside and take a walk. Taxman can refer to travelling from this world to the next. Yeah… The Paul Is Dead nonsense was one thing but that is out of another galaxy.

Seriously? This dude needs to get a life, even I can say he's too Beatles-obsessed.

OfflineLook, I just read the link (finally), and my main problem isn't the premise (I can accept he has no brain, whatever). But the author uses such words like undeniable, clear link, while being condescending, rude and frankly an ass. Almost reminds me of someone. Any idea? Pompous, with a tendency the say things are "undeniable" and "objective", when mere opinion? Who was that? Any ideas?
"condescending, rude and frankly an ass" in your opinion.
See how easy it is to write statements of opinion as fact? It would get a bit tiresome if every statement anyone made had to have "I believe", "I think" or "in my opinion" as part of it.* It's normally obvious that, when someone writes something, that's what they believe. It's up to the reader to interpret it as fact or conjecture.
I honestly don't know who you're referring to in your post, but if it's someone else on the forum please leave it rather than dredge up an old argument here.
*Just my opinion. Naturally.

OfflineJoe – you're right, to a point. I think if you're going to create a website, you really shouldn't be putting mere conjecture up on it. But, that's merely my opinion. And you're right about my last lines. It was a mere cheap shot at Anderson, yes, Seaglass. I do apologise for it, as it wasnt needed at this moment.

That's quite interesting. I think a lot of 'facts', as they're written in books and on websites, are necessarily interpretations and conjecture, based on evidence from various sources (including quotes from the people involved, which even then aren't always reliable). I maintain you have to trust the author's knowledge of the subject and the veracity of their arguments – if they stand up more often than not, their opinions tend to be more reliable. History, as a subject, would be pretty dry if it were just a collection of statistics (which in themselves can fail to tell the whole story).
If Mark Lewisohn made a statement (conjecture), you'd tend to go with him because he's a sensible and knowledgeable guy; you'd probably be more circumspect if Geoffrey Giuliano did the same because he's got a dodgy track record.
