There was a girl who worked for Apple, Miss O'Dell. Can't recall her first name and am too lazy to go look! Sorry…might be Chris. Anyhoo…she started off working at Apple as an unpaid "gopher", then, eventually became an administrative assistant of sorts. She wrote a book about it (and all the guys with whom she was intimate). Embarrassingly enough, I read it…she did Mick Jagger (who didn't?) and she would be my obvious choice for potentially sampling each of the Fab Four. She sampled practically every other musician in London as I recall….

I don't think she ever got intimate with John because by the time she was working for Apple, he'd got with Yoko. Doesn't mean nothing happened, but I think it makes it more unlikely. And it wasn't long after that Paul got with Linda…

How many of their girlfriends, wives, or one-timers lost their virginity to one of the Beatles?

Can buy Joe love! Here's the link that explains how. http://www.beatlesbible.com/forum/getting-better/forum-changes/page-9/#p110183

I think Jane might have because I remember reading that they were surprised to find out she was a virgin.

Don't know about the one-timers, but do know Cynthia was a virgin before she had John. I know Yoko had been around the block many, many times (2 marriages prior). Linda had become "acquainted" with several of the rock stars she'd been potographing. Heard a rumor she did Jagger…but don't know if it is true, and if it is, who didn't do Jagger? Am guessing Patti Boyd had her share of men before George. I'm guessing Ringo could have been Maureen's first. Know for sure that Paul was first for Dot Rhone. And, John was the first for Thelma Pickles (I love that name…what if he'd have married her?) Also not sure about Jane Asher.

I would agree with Sky666 that Jane was a virgin when she met Paul. I'd base it on her age, barely 17 (her 17th birthday was on the 5th April 1963, she met Paul on the 18th), and her upper class background. Although the Asher's were quite a bohemian family, they kept Paul in a room in the attic the whole time he lived with them (so to speak). It would have been unusual for a girl of that background, at that time, to have lost her virginity by age 17, and frowned upon.

With Pattie Boyd I think it's much more difficult to say, as she had been living independently in London since 1961, and had been a model since 1962. It seems likely she would have had some encounters.

As for the girls on the road, I'd imagine for a large percentage a Beatle, or maybe more than one, was their first experience of sex, and that not all were of the local age of consent.

I think I remember reading in Pattie's book that she'd had various relationships that were ''fun'' (I think that's how she put it), and something about living away from her parents and the freedom that gave her. I can't remember the exact words or details but it was something along those lines.

There is a book out that might give us all the answers – Randy Scouse Gits: The Sex Lives of The Beatles

Found a site with an extract from the book which reads:

One evening, before a session for Abbey Road, John turned up at Paul’s house at Cavendish Avenue unannounced to check with Paul what time that day’s session was taking place. When he arrived he found Linda was home alone. She let John in but informed him that Paul had already left for the studio. They began talking and shared a bottle of wine. Once all the wine was gone Linda rolled a giant joint that they proceeded to smoke. Linda excused herself and returned to the bedroom, where she had been making the bed before John had turned up. John followed her and offered her a hand. As they made the bed, John’s arm brushed against Linda and they kissed. The famous groupie couldn’t resist the famous Beatle despite being married to his bandmate. After all it was John she had first set her sights on. Drunk and high, they fell into each other’s arms and made love on Paul’s bed.

Anyone want to start picking holes in the story, there are quite a few places to start.

This might be one to put on the "to buy later" pile.

What do you guys think the chances are that that is true???? If it is, it blows my mind…but I just dunno. Very interesting, I must say!

As I intimated when I posted that link in the new books thread, I don't think there's a shred of truth to it at all. But it's certainly a persistent rumor.

What are the holes? Wrong locations/dates? I'm curious now.

The biggest gaping hole is that John or Linda would have been interested in cheating on their spouses in 1969, particularly with someone within the inner circle. And that this wouldn't have adversely affected the recording of Abbey Road in any way.

I think it's just bad fanfiction.

I'm glad I asked. I'm having a good laugh at the answers. Thanks for the afternoon pick-me-up.

I'm so intrigued by this book, I ordered it from Amazon! I'm such a sap! I'll read anything about the Beatles, even if it is lies. By the way…the table of contents that I viewed before I bought it reads much like our Forum!!! There is a chapter titled Was John Gay? We should have gotten together and written the book ourselves…it's all speculation anyway. Oh well….

Just thought of another "hole" in the story of Linda hooking up with John. Linda went in to make the bed and John followed her to help. She was Linda McCartney…I'll bet my last dollar Linda didn't have to make beds…I'm sure they had a maid. Maybe John hooked up with the maid!

Plus, the only way we'd know the story is either one of them told someone, or Paul caught them in bed… and told someone. Either scenario is a-hard-days-night-paul-10 a-hard-days-night-paul-4ahdn_paul_01, which is Paulish for W T F.

Where was Yoko in all of this? Considering it was johnandyoko and they supposedly never left each other's side did John leave her in the car or was this when Yoko was getting it on with Paul? Paul had already left for the studio and John conveniently didn't know the time.ahdn_paul_02

It reads like one of those cheesy Mills and Boon stories; Linda returning to the bedroom, the "accidental" brushing of arms. falling into each others arms. All we need is Linda revealing John's powerful ripped chest and a few euphemisms for body parts – what better time for using "body gun" from Hi, Hi, Hi.

Great point. Maybe they sent her out for more wine…to the south of France. yoko-ono_01
