Paul, you're one of the most famous people in the World. If you want to walk around Disneyland with the kids with no one bugging you ask and they will probably close the place down for a couple of hours. Now, how about speaking to those who set the monthly question and get some decent ones answered.a-hard-days-night-ringo-15

The ones who got less might demand more money now from Paul, Ringo, and the estates of John and George.

I would also ask that group of women how many of them aborted Beatle babies.

That is very interesting. I'd like to have an answer on that as well. Both the abortion and the money thing.

I wonder how many Beatles love-children there are that are wandering the world. Do they know who their fathers are? Sure Paul has a son (never proven but most-likely Paul's child) who lives in Liverpool(?) now that he had after he went out with Dot Rhone and before The Beatles became famous.
Interesting thought that…

Good question Zig, its something I've been wondering for a good while. Sure there is protection and birth control; however, birth control was is in its infancy. Even at with those I believe there had to be some oops in the middle of the road. Who paid the girls after Brian was dead? Meaning, girls they may have gotten pregnant after Brian's death.

Great question, Zig!!!! I personally think bragging rights of having had "relations" with Paul would be worth more than any money they could have coughed up for me. (Of course, who the heck would believe me!!!!!) Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think Dot Rhone was pregnant with Paul's child and she miscarried. I think it was she and not Francie Schwartz. I have read that it is highly likely Paul has another son. I think (and I'm really fuzzy on this one) that Brian arranged a one-time settlement with that mother.

That is a great question, Zig and one I have thought of before too.

Yes, Dot Rhone was pregnant and she and Paul were going to get married.  Then she miscarried the baby.  I have read a story somewhere online I think about Paul having another son in Liverpool.  There was a picture of the "son" too.  By his looks, it was hard to say…he wasn't a dead ringer for Paul or anything like that.

I think their surely must be a few "kids" scattered about the world!  From what I've read anyway…..

Why would you want to abort a Beatle baby? Even if I didn't have the support, I would keep the Beatle baby. I know different times back then.ahdn_paul_01

I guess Beatle baby when you have no decent job, wage, house of your own, etc. plus the chance that your family will turn their backs on you isn't the best thing ever, though. As you say, different times…

To put a massive, depressing dampener on this thread:

For use as an example a Beatle (let's say Paul) gets a woman (Rosie) pregnant in 1960's Ireland

Because of the Catholic Church's strong hold on Ireland, Rosie is not allowed to abort the baby. No contraceptives were legally allowed to be purchased and sex before marriage was condemned-it was a disgrace on your family. Rosie would then have the baby (if she was lucky) at a hospital, where the baby will be taken away to be adopted by "proper parents" i.e. a married man and woman. Hopefully Rosie's married brother/sister would take the baby but if they didn't they would be given to an unknown couple and Rosie would never find out who took her child. The moment the child was born, the papers would be signed and the baby taken away so as not to form a "bond" between the mother and the child (heaven forbid that happens). If the family did not want to have anything to do with Rosie, she would be taken to a Magdalene's laundry run by nuns, who would beat her, verbally abuse her and basically imprison her for the rest of her life with other women who had children out-of-marriage, prostitutes, abused women, women with mental difficulties and other 'fallen women'. They would be forced to undertake hard physical labour, do laundry and needle work. Let it be known that the last of these laundries didn't close until 1995.

Also if Rosie's child had died shortly after childbirth or was stillborn and a priest could not be summoned to baptise the baby before it died, it would be buried outside the grounds of the graveyard, as they had never been cleansed from 'original sin' in areas called 'cilliní'.

A grim history of the control the Catholic Church once had (and in some ways) still has in Ireland. If anybody wants to know more the Magdalene laundries, there is a great film called 'The Magdalene Sisters', you might notice the actress who played Julia in Nowhere Boy is in it.

It was that in a lot places here in America, especially back when The Beatles were in their prime. My mother was one of those babies put up for adoption. All we know about her biological mother is that she was 19 and unwed. My mother never met her biological mother (closed adoption), although she thought about in the past; however, over time she accepted her adopted mother as her mother. Girls were often forced to drop out of school, high school or college, due to pregnancy. Some were forced to move cross country to live with a family member, have the baby, put it for adoption, and never speak about again. It was shameful back then. I know some Catholic Churches even now will banish a pregnant teen. I wasn't thinking in my right mind I guess when I put my previous comment. I was just thinking"its a Beatle baby. Beatle genes awesome. I have a job I'll support without family help", but then it goes back to it was a different time.

I think we need a masterpost of all your merchandise ideas.

I would say, "Here, here!" to that idea, parlance, but then I start channeling mmm. a-hard-days-night-ringo-13 Apple would only have to look in one place for these ideas, and some of them might be on the store shelves by Christmas. paul-mccartney Perhaps mmm could gather them and PM to those he trusts wouldn't copy and paste it over to Apple?

mmm, I hope you do post which "flavor" you would ascribe to each Beatle.

a-hard-days-night-ringo-8Thank you for the nice comments but little kiddies (i'm not going to sing Matchbox) come here and i have to be mindful not to accidentally scare folks away or turn their minds – hence the non-inclusion of what the last one would be, it wasn't exactly 12A but i am mindful.

Like a good song inspiration comes from a variety of places and not all at once. Did John Lennon write I Am The Walrus in 1957, no that was 1967 (and he was drugged up and a Beatle).

Yay! I can say I provided inspiration to mmm, the king of corny Apple merchandise ideas/disasters even if we don't get to fully see where his mind went with the inspiration.

Does anyone know of any girls that tried to make that claim to fame of enjoying the pleasure of all 4?

a-hard-days-night-ringo-8 There must have been some who were brought to the Beatles during the US tours who got to enjoy all 4's company thru the night. The obvious thought would be in Hamburg but Ritchie wasnt really about during the early visits and Pete doesn't seem the kind of guy who was into all of that, i more imagine him having a cup of hot milk. There must have been some females who went with John, Paul and George in Hamburg tho.

Don't know of any tho. Maybe in one of those crappy "Beatles Secret Stories" dvds you find going for full price.
