Okay…that’s slightly strange.

Yeah, I was chuckling to myself thinking about that “weee-bo!” when I woke up; dunno what the hell THAT meant!

ANOTHER minor Beatle dream, my second in a week! This one’s less than two hours old:

I was stepping onto an elevator, a special elevator which traveled horizontally rather than vertically for some reason, and sitting on a chair in the corner is none other than Paul McCartney . I say “Hey, you’re Paul McCartney aren’t you?” He gives me a little smile and says “Weeee-bo!” and starts laughing like he’s made a joke. I start to laugh along with him, when I look in his mouth and notice that he’s got absolutely no teeth! Then I woke up.

This sounds very similar to the glass elevator scene at the end of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Perhaps you dreamt it because the closing ceremonies for the Olympics had an ode to it! a-hard-days-night-george-9

Ooh, I’d forgotten that Willy Wonka bit was in the ceremony! Wasn’t it used as the intro to “I Am The Walrus ” or “Mr. Blue Sky”? Can’t recall exactly…

a-hard-days-night-ringo-8I honestly couldn’t tell ya, Von. I unfortunately missed the closing ceremonies; a near tragedy it seems, too, considering the gold mine it was for Beatles fans. ahdn_george_05I heard that “Pure Imagination” was included somewhere in the ceremony from my best friend. I’m a really big fan of Willy Wonka–the original, of course–and she thought it was ironic that I missed a performance that was embedded with so many of the things I love all at once…

Hey, Von, I had a dream last night that kind of reminded me of the one you had of Paul. ahdn_ringo_09

I was visiting John and Yoko in the living room of Tittenhurst Park when the room’s flooring suddenly collapsed into a large swimming pool filled with glowing, crystal blue water. Yoko somehow managed to land on a dry patch of tile, but John and I landed–still fully clothed–in the cool water. The fact that he had on heavy clothing didn’t seem to phase him as he started swimming like a dolphin all around the perimeter of the room, which had somehow managed to fill to the ceiling with the magic water. As he was twirling and tossing beneath the waves, he spoke to me in an excited manner: although I don’t remember the conversations that arose, I know that I was perplexed by the sheer absurdity of them. Yoko, almost a mother figure in the dream, called us out of the pool to get dried off before partaking of tea. As we swam to the surface, our aquatic playground faded behind us until we were once again in a dry room–the very room in which the dream had begun. Just as we were getting settled for tea, Yoko menacingly looked at me as she told me that “due to the circumstances”–I guess she thought I was a threat to her marriage or something–she never wanted to see me again. I remember John watching me walk the grounds of Tittenhurst Park with a sorrowful face pressed against the dining room window, slowly twitching his fingers in a wave.

And then I awoke.

Believe it or not, I had a *kind* of Yoko-dream myself last night! (I went to sleep with “Fly” on the headphones and woke up with her screaming in my ears – not for the faint of heart, needless to say.)

Oh my lord, this reminds me of a time I foolishly fell asleep with my iPod on shuffle and my headphones in- and was woken up by THIS:

The fear I felt as I woke up is literally beyond comprehension, it was horrible. I was in a cold sweat.

My frist dream with Yoko… Sems to be a trend around here (?)

The dream I had was a very warm, albeit slightly sad one. John had made a ballad, I think he was playing his guitar, but Yoko was the singer. She sang beautifully. I think the lyrics were something like “The stars in your eyes won’t fade away even if you go away”, she sang right next to John, in his lap, you could say. They were both smiling, John had medium length hair and special glasses, like he did in the beginning of the seventies. And to add to this domestic scene, both Sean and Julian were playing around them, they were very small, John smiled gently to them. Throughout this dream, I was fully aware that John was dead, which made me think that I must be watching a home video of some kind. Then, I woke up. For some reason, BB was first on my mind, and I googled the opic, but I couldn’t find anything. I tried and tried but I just couldn’t find this topic and eventually, I gave up. After that, I became a spirit in this alternate, futuristic universe. I controlled the water; the sky was filled with living cardboard boxes who had pictures painted on them, they were friendly creatures. But the kingdom had gone bad, they slaughtered those friendly carboad thingies. So I with a group of brave kids tried to save the day.

I had a Beatle dream last night, I was in some kind of restaurant-cafe with my mother but the Beatles were also there (I only remember seeing Paul and George though, George circa ’64 and Paul circa ’73). Paul was playing Live And Let Die on the piano and I was singing along with him. Don’t remember anything else.

I posted this in Beatley moments, and vonbontee let me know there was a dreams thread. Last night, I had an odd dream last night that I was enjoying a great cover of a solo George song by Steely Dan. I could hear it clearly, but unfortunately I can’t remember it.

My first Beatles dream a couple of months ago was about interning for Paul on tour. I have the most random dreams.

This thread made me think about a Beatles-related dream I had some time ago. I was in a garden with other people, we were sitting at tables under a large tent, and there was a screen like in a small cinema, showing a Beatles video with Paul, George and Ringo in the 90s (judging from their appearance); they were on a bus, like a newer version of Magical Mystery Tour . George was talking with Paul, but I can’t remember the subject of the conversation. What I do remember is that suddenly all the people who were watching the video began talking about drugs and hallucinations, while the images on the screen became more and more confused. At that point I saw some waiters coming to our tables to serve tea, but they also served us some strange-looking “cherries” which we were supposed to put into our tea: they had an unhealthy yellow-white colour, and I instantly thought “I’m not putting that stuff into my drink!”

Dreamt last night that I was backstage at a Stella McCartney show watching her prepare to unveil a new line. Oh, and Prince was there, just hanging out. Interesting how like the one about her father I was working/observing behind the scenes.

Had a dream about Yoko last night. I can´t remember much about it but I think she was at a birthday party (possibly hers?). Then I woke up this morning, thought about the dream, and remembered that she´s 80 today! Bit strange, it´s not even like I was thinking last night ”it´s Yoko´s birthday tommorow” (and that´s why I dreamt about it).

Wow, I forgot that Yoko turned 80 yesterday, or I would’ve spun “Birthday ” in her honour. She looks pretty good for 80!

Haven’t had any Beatles dreams since that last one in August…but I DID have a Beatlesbible Forum dream a few months back that I neglected to mention here! Now I can’t remember anything about it, except that it involved Mithveaen in some way.

I had some weird dream that I don’t remember very well the other night. The Beatles were at my house, and I was talking to John and George while Paul and Ringo tried to figure out which Chinese restaurant in my town had the best food.

I had a weird dream where me and a few others were stuck in this weird huge old building and the only way out was to solve a load of puzzles. The thing was that each puzzle was formed by 2 living Beatles making up the shapes by their own positions and you had to go find the corresponding door that had that marking to get thru. Woke up before getting out.
