OfflineWell, if you boycott Wal-Mart like I do, there are Beatles notebooks at Target. I have a 3-subject "A Hard Day's Night" one for my AP classes. Get it? Because AP is hard?*

OfflineI know I'll regret this, but why do you boycott Wal-Mart?
As for the topic, I have never used Beatles school stuff, and frankly think it's silly. Is the binder/pen/notebook any better for having John Paul George and Ringo on it? No. Does it make me look more like a freak? Yes. I have more then enough proof I'm a fan, I needn't prove it further.

I disagree with you. It's just a photo in a notebook or binder, or bag or pen. It's like having Louis Vuitton logo all plastered in a bag, or American Eagle plastered on your tshirt.
Heh, what you can see at home you shall have. I can imagine in a few years, when SunKing's children begging him "Dad Dad we want school bags with Justin Bieber in the cover Dad pleaseeee" hahahahahahahahahahahahaha

I'd disown them in a heartbeat.

There are a myriad of reasons, but I don't want you to regret it too much.
Let's just say that I find some of their business practices unethical.

OfflineOh great, I can't even get the true details. If you'd prefer not to massively derail, I'd be fine with a PM. But I do want to know.
Obviously I can't speak for M3, but there are quite a few reasons on this page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/C…..of_Walmart
There are various anti-Wal-Mart features on the interweb.

I can see your side of it. Peer pressure being what it is, you don't want to appear to be a dork.
However, here is my side of it. If I have a Beatles calendar hanging on my office wall (I do!) or use a pen, pencil, notebook or whatever with a Beatles logo on it, I do it because I like to look at it. I really don't care what anyone thinks about it. That comes from being incredibly comfortable with who I am. When I was your age, not so much. So again, I hear where you are coming from.
Wow – from "where can I buy some school supplies" to discussions on life. God, I love this Forum!
For now, I will hit myself with a…

But you're old!
In all actuality, I agree, but this isn't 1977. There's a difference.

That's basically my side of it.
And Sun king: I don't know about school life in your area, but I can tell you that when I was in junior high, I was mocked for being a Beatles fan, but when I hit high school, it was a common occurrence to see a Beatles shirt in the hallway. (You're entering high school this year, right?) So basically, high school is better than junior high.

OfflineEverything in moderation though, right? For example, I own 5 Beatles/Paul shirts. I only wear one of them to school. But I also wear my The Who shirt, and many other shirts for that matter. I use my Beatles lunch box, and my Rolling Stones and my …Thomas the Tank Engine Lunch box. I don't think I would feel comfortable if everyone thought all I care about is the Beatles. Which I don't, but people these days love to make assumptions and criticisms. But I do feel comfortable expressing things that I like, and styles that I like. The Beatles just tend to pop in there once in awhile.
Kind of like how if I make a playlist for a party or something of the sort, I'll include one or two Beatles songs. Not the whole catalogue.
So not to derail, get a Beatles notebook if it makes you happy. Whatever makes you happy, if it's a reminder of the music you like every once in awhile. I just don't think you need to be decked out in your Beatles shirt with a Yellow Submarine lunchbox, a Hard Day's Night backpack, a Revolver notebook and Sgt. Pepper's pens. Moderation is key. They don't need to be in your face every minute of the day, but a reminder is nice.

OfflineWow.. here in Mexico nobody gets teased if you have a backpack or something related with an actor or a sportsperson. If you continue with that in university then you do get teased. The only thing I have seen is boys teasing girls for having Justin Bieber in their notebooks, but it's not mean at all.

My story is I'm moving from one wing of my school to the next. That's it. Same building, same rooms, same annoying classmates willing to mock and annoy me. I don't need to give them more ammo.
