"Please don't bring your banjo back, I know where it's been..  I wasn't hardly gone a day, when it became the scene..  Banjos!  Banjos!  All the time, I can't forget that tune..  and if I ever see another banjo, I'm going out and buy a big balloon!"

A Brief History of the Beatles

Not as meticulously researched as Beatles 3000, but it'll do.

Never seen Beatles 3000 before, loved the closing notes of the Cheers tune at the end of recreated Pepper and others album.

Watched a CNN special last night on President Richard Nixon. It was produced by ...Penny Lane.

Think her parents are Beatle fans?

For some reason, John riding a unicorn has become a thing on the internets, or maybe just Reddit. Some examples: 1 2 3 4

Lot of fun. I had missed the "Good Knight"  Not sure I get the Lady Madonna. "I'll Follow The Sun" was a LOL.

I didn't think I'd find those pictures as amusing as I did, although they're a bit strange! :D

Oh that's the one where I could only find 69 clues. I just can't find a 70th song.

Yeah, that one was a bit of a stretch - the best I can come up with was a likeness to Madonna the singer and she had her pinky up while drinking tea like a proper Lady.

Otherwise, it was a lot of fun.

Extremely biased and silly article, How to Be a Beatles Fan, In One Chart. Just passing it on in case it amuses.

A Freshman brought her One Direction notebook to the library class today. I just had to pull this picture up to show the class. Mean me.

Is that One Direction? The only 1 I think I recognise is Harry Styles or something like that. They have a film out. Anyone going to see it?

^^ No interest, I'm afraid.

Not sure where else to put this, but I just got a newsletter from the Troubadour, through which I've learned there is a group called Gringo Star.
