OfflineMy dad just found this out the other day, and told me right away. My dad has a friend, who has a wife named Rose.
Rose, who was a teenager at the time, and her little sister took a bus to Chicago to see The Beatles back in the day. Rose and her sister somehow got separated after the show so Rose was walking all around the venue to try and find her sister. Rose ended up by some security door at the back of the venue and just as she got there the door opened. Out walked
. George asked, little girl what are you doing back here? Rose said I have lost my sister and am trying to find her. George bent down, kissed Rose on the forehead and said, I wish you the best of luck in finding her, I just came out here to have a cigarette.
Just thought I would share

I would have slapped him and said "Oh no you don't! No cigarettes for you!"

OfflineI've mentioned this before in another thread, but I think it's a great story.
My dad used to work with a man who met The Beatles at some sort of party in America, and he had a drink and a chat with them. He managed to get all four of their signatures, plus Brian's. He wanted to keep the autographs safe so sent them back to his brother in England, only to get a letter back from him saying "I hate The Beatles so I tore up the autographs and threw them away."
"When I cannot sing my heart, I can only speak my mind."
