Wait, did you find that while clicking 'Random Article' on Wikipedia? If so, that would be pretty neat.
Now if only I had a really powerful telescope…
Nope at the end of the McCartney page.

OfflineLucy and her diamonds now have companions in the sky. Too cool.
I will preface my next thought by acknowleding that the accuracy of Wikipedia has been questioned in the past. But did anyone else notice that John and Paul had asteroids named after them, while George and Ringo had minor planets named after them?
I started to look up both terms to see if there were actually the same thing. I started to read an article on it, but got a headache.

Good point. John and Paul are asteroids, George and Ringo minor planets. Usually we think of planets as being bigger (or I do at least), but people generally see John and Paul as more important. Is the astronomer trying to say something?

OfflineWow, that must be an old web page, it lists George's dates as "1943--present"
I thought the article's description of Ringo was quite dismissive.

I asked a friend : It's a minor planet and an asteroid as well.
I wish I could remember which comedian once said… Why do they call asteroids "asteroids" and hemorrhoids "hemmorrhoids"? Wouldn't it make more sense the other way around?
