Offline No. It does not. It's one side of leftover songs from the Sgt. Pepper and pre-White Album era and another side of film score. This is all in my humble opinion, of course….

Offline But couldn’t you then argue that Magical Mystery Tour isn’t an album, because it’s one half film score, one half singles and other songs that didn’t make it to Sgt Peppers. In my head they’ve both always counted as albums. Just my opinion ofc. 🙂

Yellow Submarine has 4 new songs so I don't agree it is an “extremely awesome collections of songs.”
Well perhaps I was exaggerating a bit, but I do really like 3 out of 4 of those new songs. Plus even the orchestral pieces I sort of like.
